I have had unprotected sex with a girlfriend and after three weeks i experienced a cloudy discharge from my penis and also a tingling sensation which I suspect as a chlamydial infection or NGU. I took 1g of zithromax and also took 5days of doxycycline 100mg. bid. After the medication my symptoms disappeared. After a few days however my testicles ached after i drank a large amount of liqour. I took another zithromax dosage and this time 1g on the first day and 500mg for another two days.

It works by fighting bacteria within the body, so yes it should cure chlamydia. The usual treatment for chlamydia is a single dose of four pills when diagnosed, but the Zithro will do the same :D

I was taking zithromax 500mg per day for 14 days to treat mycoplasma infection. On 11th day, I have noticed that my urine output has decreased considerably and the flow is also slow. No matter how much I drink, the output is always low. Till the 10th day my urine flow was quite strong and high output. I'm also feeling abit lightheaded. I'm on my 13th day today and took zithromax today morning. PLEASE HELP!
do antibiotics sometimes cause these sympotms? i find zithromax really does a number on my digestive system. especially as it was given in a single high dose 2000mg. i never really thought about the antibiotics being the root of the symptoms. it's 7 days since i took them,and i didn'tget any symptoms unitl after i took them, but i figured it was the incubatin period of the std also, and maybe i'd taken the pills too soon like i said.
I was treated though with arithomycin and when he went to the doctor they gave him just one shot in his butt and that is all...I was wondering if they treated him correctly and does this mean it is okay for us to continue sexual intercourse...I do not want to become re infected?
I have discharge after 4 days of receiving oral sex from a girl I take 6 x 250 mg Zithromax , before I go to doctor. When I go to doctor I did not inform him about Zithromax. The doctor give me ciprofloxacin 750 mg twice a day for 10 days. He try to find any discharge for testing but he cannot find any. He make a culture urine test. I did not receive the result. This is the 3rd day in treatment I didn't see any discharge but still have burn in my pines and under my abdominal.

In Feb. 06 I suffered a blackout. I may have had a sexual encounter with a sex worker. I had a girlfriend at this time (now fiancee). We weren't having full sex at the time. (All screens came back neg. except for NSU which is recurring). Main concern is any possible damage I may cause/have caused to my fiancee.
July 06 - Tested positive for NSU (no known bacteria found). - Prescribed 1g Zithromax in a single dose. - Was not called back to GUM & was told to continue on as normal.
based on fact it recurred twice having taken 1g Zithromax but on 3rd attempt of 1g Zithromax it went away for 4years? I.e If it was MG in first instance it appeared to be resistant to first two doses of 1g Zithromax so it would't have gone away on the third dose.
4) Could it be herpes? I have no symptoms. Should I get a type specific HSV test? Would it give a definitive answer for herpes?
5) My regular partner was checked before for Chlym & Gono. Nothing found.

If treated w. 2 g zithromax for NSU, how long would that mask incubating syphillis. IE, how long after taking zithromaz could a follow up syphillis test be done and be valid?
The main problem here is that you are apparently hoping for a clear diagnosis without ever visiting a doctor or clinic. It was a BIG mistake to treat yourself with azithromycin (or anything else) without professional guidance. That may have screwed up any chance of learning what's going on.
That said, the severe pain ("peeing razors") immediately after masturbation suggests to me that you may have gotten something irritating into your urethra.

Approximately, three to four days later I experience some frequency to urinate. Two weeks later comes an itch at the tip of my penis. I go to be evaluated at the clinic.
