Have you tried dandruff shampoos? Maybe washing your hair less often would help. Pregnancy can cause some crazy changes during and after, my hair for instance I can wash it and pull out a hanful of hair. I shed worse than an animal! Lol.
They seem to be made out of dandruff or built up dead skin cells, but I use a specialized shampoo that keeps my scalp moisturized since I've had dandruff issues before. The bumps leak a clear fluid when I scratch them off, and, as expected of an open "wound", sting when in contact with anything external. There is no specific odor that is identifiable, and I have not been able to see one of the bumps via a photo to determine color.
Lately i have noticed i have dandruff, i heard of shampoo that gets rid of it, does anyone know any kind of shampoo or other thing that does, i have tried showering even More often then i do, which is alot, and it still doesnt go away, i want to get rid of it soon, only got it about a week ago. The best way to treat dandruff is to use a dandruff shampoo. Look for shampoos with ingredients such as zinc pyrithone, salicyclic acid, coal tar, selenium silfide, or ketoconazole. All of these ingredients have been shown to work on dandruff; to use the shampoo, apply it to your scalp and hair, rub vigorously, and allow it to sit for five minutes so that the ingredients can work before rinsing it out.
You can treat flaking and dryness with over-the-counter dandruff or medicated shampoos. Shampoo the hair vigorously and frequently (preferably daily). Active ingredients in these shampoos include salicylic acid, coal tar, zinc, resorcin, ketoconazole, or selenium.
If the symptoms persist,then it would be best to get it confirmed from a dermatologist.

Yea... I'm not so worried about the dandruff as I can usually make it go away at least temporarily.
But would love if I could find something that will keep these sores/dandruff away.
My 12 year old little brother has really extensive cradle cap. He has no health insurance and I need recommendations on anything I can do for him. Will conofite lotion 1% possibly help? And or Chlorhexidine scrub used as a shampoo, could that work? What can I do I'm desperate!

I am 26, been losing hair since 2002. I inherited dandruff problem from my father. I take head bath everyday, if i dont my scalp gets filled with dandruff and extremely itchy. I used Head & Shoulders shampoo everyday which worked for dandruff but not itching. And it seemed that the shampoo worsened the hair loss problem; I started using herbal essence shampoo since last 15 months, i use it everyday. Dandruff and itching are controlled but I still loose lot of hair.
Hi, for the past two months my daughter and I all of a sudden got extremely dry scalp. we have tried everything. At first, I taught it was lice and I applied lice shampoo to both of our heads. That did not work, so next I tried apple cider vinegar, natural drandruff shampoo, head n shulders,, expensive shampoo from the salon, I don't know what else to do. Our heads itch all the time. Hello, I've been having this dandruff problem for few years now. I thought shampooing could resolve this issue, especially by using Head&Shoul*** shampoo or Cle** shampoo. Do you have tips on how to get rid of them? Natural and the cheapest way if possible, coz some of my dandruff sometimes results in minor wound like patches.
after using any anti dandruff shampoo like clinic plus, head & shoulder my head ache starts. why?
i use other shampoo also but only anti dandruff starts my head ache. i want to know which chemical affecting me?
