tried enbrel, mtx, simponi, mobic, ibuprof. and more. Thinking of cataflam, arthrotec. If something has helped your ra pain pls reply. Narcotics are out I drive for a living. Thank you.

Thank you Molly, what a sweet person you are. I do have an appt. in two weeks with my Rheumy and will ask abt. perhaps taking it instead of the Lortab. It is just too much for me to go on without something stronger than the Ibu. and otc pain meds. I have SLE and fibro, cfs, and if I can I would prefer to not take the Lortabs anymore. It sounds like you may have Fibromyalgia or even perhaps a mix between that and Chronic Fatigue. Many doctors think the two are the same condition, but each person has either pain or fatigue as their main symptom. I am not familiar with Arthrotec, so I can't comment on that medication. What kind of specialist are you going to see? The best type for what you are going through is a Rheumatologist. I would get in to see one if you can. Good luck. -Dusty.

5 months (in a cast at first then sling/brace) and still no-union of bone but my arm does feel much better. i am on very high doses of morphine, oramorph, tramadol, dihydrocodeine, baclofen, arthrotec & some paracetamol for a bad back. I also have osteoporosis & take calcium tablets for this too. This has gone on for 5 years since i fell off the back of my old works truck. Oh & 2 lots of pills for high blood pressure.

over the past 2 weeks, but especially past 24 hrs I've had increasing neck pain that I also feel on the outside of my right arm. I now have pain doing things like lifting light items like a quart of milk or opening the venetian blinds, turning my head to the right is painful. ll take more injections with more caution. Interesting though that the anti-inflammatory arthrotec and 25 mg nortriptyline seemed to do the job before the injections!

My wife is home & yes it is detox 5. The whole family are saying .it would be the best thing for me. 5 days instead of the alternative slow painful w/d. I have had chest xray which showed a probable hiatus hernia (my doctor does not think this is the cause or significant since I have no reflux or trouble eating). I have had abdominal ultrasound and chest and abdominal CT and all have come back negative. Blood work was all negative including a D-dimer negative urine negative but I am still in pain. The pain gets less sometimes and sometimes eases after eating but rarely goes away completely.

I was on Arthrotec and Mefenamic (at different times) and both really did a number on my stomach. Now I'm on iv morphine. From what I can remember also, when I took Codeine a long time ago, I would also get a lot of stomach pain or chest pain and get really hot in the face. Weird it don't happen with morphine. I guess my post wasn't much help. Sorry. But just check about the aspirin.
