Avatar n tn I suggest the use of products that are hypoallergenic and also with organic ingredients such as vitamin C and E. Anti aging products may also be beneficial especially for women with fine lines and wrinkles. A healthy diet, decrease intake of fatty food, cessation of smoking, adequate sleep and daily exercise will ensure not just great skin but also a healthy body in general.
Avatar f tn It is completely independent, I do have to leave the house for shows, but I make money for products sold, and for products sold by consultants underneath me, I enjoy setting my own schedule and because everyone needs face wash, moisturizers, lotions, and anti-aging skin care products business is never slow. I an out of my home for approx 9 hours a week and do another 3 hours of work in my home and I make over $400/week.
Avatar f tn I take excellent care of my teeth. I floss daily, brush 2 -3x daily, change my toothbrush often, avoid dark colas and coffee and staining foods like blueberries, and I use Biotene mouthwash (the label says it "brings out the natural whiteness of teeth.") but still my teeth looking super dull lately and not nearly as white as they used to be. I am 35 now, but is there anything other than age that could be contributing to the "aging" look to my teeth?
Avatar f tn I am 60 and noticing my teeth are more transparent. There are products that advertise they will restore lost dentin. Anybody tried them?
Avatar m tn A capsule (in vcaps) of C24/7 has 22,000 phytonutrients sourced from all organic high-grade ingredients such as 12 whole fruits, 12 whole vegetables, 12 mushrooms, 12 green spirulina blends, 18 amino acids, 10 essential fatty acids, 12 herb and specialty nutrients 12 digestive enzymes 5 anti-aging anti-oxidant enhancers 4 longevity polyphenols.
Avatar n tn I would stick to one brand where possible as the products often work together ie the cleanser and exfoliator prepare the skin for the moisturiser. Murad products are quite harsh so your skin must be strong and oily, meaning you are unlikely to suffer sensitivity from using a new skin care regime. Clinique make a good range for blemish prone skin including cleanser, soap, chest and back spray, treatment gel and post blemish formula.
999323 tn?1249913386 I'd like some recommendations for a good moisturizing face cream. Anti-wrinkle, maybe? it's actually too late for that!
1064785 tn?1406638398 I do not know if there is anything specifically geared towards pregnancy- I am sure there is. I like the 'skin deep' section on the environemental working groups page. Please know it is kind of overly-cautious, but at least you can see why somethings are worse for you than others and what the ingredients are that shoud be avoided. Hope this helps! Congrats on your tww! Stick and grow baby!
1547525 tn?1293750771 Ive been a heavy smoker for over fifteen years, often two to three packs a day, and Im becoming concerned that my skin is really starting to show signs of premature aging, even though Im still pretty young. I generally take excellent care of my skin and I use Nivea almost daily; and although I used to tan too much, but Ive cut back on that lately.
Avatar n tn I would avoid heavy moisturisers if you are prone to acne as over use of oily anti-aging products has lead, in part, to the increase of adult acne in women.
Avatar f tn What could be causing this? I really want to get to the bottom of this because cosmetics products and treatments are so expensive and time consuming, and most of them don't even work. Some days my face looks so bad that I'm too embarrassed to leave my house. I'm too embarrassed to talk to my doctors about this because I doubt that they're going to care.
Avatar f tn What vitamins can I take to prevent aging? Exclusively the face and neck areas. If there is not a vitamin, can herbs help and what kind? Any Natural Preventions?
Avatar n tn Since these acne products increase cell turnover and exfoliation, I was wondering if extensive use could lead to premature aging of the skin. One of the components of aging is mutation via repeated DNA replication. The more times your body makes copies of its cells, the higher the chance of a mutation occurring and a less-than-perfect copy being made. So, does it follow that BP and SA, by increasing skin cell renewal, would hasten the aging process?
1713150 tn?1314467342 Will I get wrinkles soon? What can I use on my face to help with that? What about my bones? Because I am aging, will I possibly start getting diseases and disorders, that older people get? No offence to anyone.
5333703 tn?1366564561 You must take 10-12 grams 30 minutes prior to falling asleep to get this release of HGH as an anti-aging effect. For an athletic effect, take your supplement prior to exercise. Do not use high glycemic sports drinks such as Gatorade because it will interfere with absorption and will waste your money. Studies have shown that large doses of arginine may cause some cancers to replicate faster. However, the doses were from 30 to 50 grams and were given intravenously.
Avatar m tn m sure is hereditary, he told me to buy an anti-hair loss shampoo, another hair treatment shampo called Sebovalis, a Ses Kabel anti-hair loss lotion and minoxidil 5% lotion... the thing is I don't trust any doctor around here, and I suspect he's not 100% sure about my problem so he recommends all these things to see what works.
1028452 tn?1537448484 The most consistent, enthusiastic exercisers are those who do activities they like, whether it’s dancing, hiking or aqua aerobics. Exercise has a strong, anti-aging effect on cells’ DNA. It influences telomeres, “caps” at the ends of DNA strands, kind of like the tips on shoelaces, which protect chromosomes from destruction. Telomeres shorten progressively over time, leading to cellular damage due to the inability of the cell to duplicate itself correctly.
