Avatar n tn Check with your local dental society in regards to any services that may be available to your son in regards to his missing teeth. They may be able to refer you to further resources that are either public or private. The usual process I would imagine is to maintain the teeth that he has to continue to have a cosmetic smile and something functional.
Avatar m tn Ok this is not even a question. Lets start this way. When did you test for HIV? Do you have a confirmation western blot positve test or just an antibody test? What were some risks that you had that could have exposued you to HIV?
Avatar n tn i searched online and apparently it is some type of western blot test but instead of giving me just an answer they gave me this index. ..what kind of western blot is this?..if its truly a western blot test and knowing that western blot tests are conclusive after 8 weeks I can just forget about the infection and move on with my life..!

They are looking for donations to aid in the study of CCSVI, client services, public education and awareness, volunteer development and government relations across Canada. In the front of the envelope was a window exposing a Canadian Nickel and they are asking you to show your support by adding your gift to the nickel. Also included in the envelope are 72, personalized, return address labels.

Avatar f tn What does they mean 80 per HIV specialist or 90 percent ?? And the AIDS VANCOVER which is HIV society they do service for free from Canada stated that 4 th generation test is not so conclusive at weeks and that starts that it is a good indicator of your status . Can you please tell me how far they are true?
Avatar n tn The Western Blot is the confirmatory test. If your Western Blots have been continually neg...then chances are...you do NOT have HIV. However, you should follow up with an ID doctor to be sure. Also...FYI.....you don't get symptoms of "AIDS" if you are newly infected with HIV...you should know that!
382218 tn?1341181487 I just came across this little blurb in the MS Society Winter 2009 newsletter: Tysabri reimbursement On July 1, 2009, Alberta and Saskatchewan agreed to cover most of the cost of Tysabri (natalizumab) for people with MS, who have failed on two other disease-modifying therapies. As of September 30, Ontario agreed to reimburse Tysabri for the treatment of Rapidly Evolving Severe Relapsing-Remitting multiple sclerosis (RES-RRMS) in individuals who meet certain criteria.

Avatar m tn My WB test was INDETERMINATE NEGATIVE and ELISA test result is also NEGATIVE (test was taken after 3 months of exposure). According to some internet sites, related to HIV/AIDS, I read that test result could be NEGATIVE during 'window period', even some one is infected (false result). I also read that WB TEST result could be INDETERMINATE if infected person is in 3rd stage (AIDS). My query is if I am in 3rd stage (AIDS); could my result come NEGATIVE in ELISA TEST too ? Please help.
Avatar m tn Many many people world wide die each day from an AIDS related complex yet they tested negative for HIV and the cause of death gets written off in the medical report as something other than AIDS when in reality it was a form of AIDS which caused the break down in the immunity system. I recommend you read the free book on the Internet entitled: "Full Disclosure the Truth About the AIDS Epidemic" by Gary L. Glum who happens to be the #1 authority on this subject matter.
Avatar n tn more bad news for condoms Doctors speak out about condom failures! Many leading health experts have warned against depending on condoms for protection against AIDS and other STDs. Avatar f tn A siste ran the ad for her brother, a recent war veteran. He had been diagnosed with MS. She wanted to find out about a cure for MS. The MS Society was formed to find a cure. The federal government gives very little to MS research. The MS Society pays for most of the research. They are funding well over a 100 studies at the moment. In our area they have a pilot program to train PT students to work with MS patients. They give scholarships at UNC.
