wellbutrin xl adhd

I just started taking Wellbutrin XL 150 just over a week ago for Depression and Adult ADHD... i dont know if any of these symptons are common... but ive been having hot flashes, loss of appetite, explosive anger episodes (especially in traffic), and im still unable to concentrate. My depression has subsided mildly, but im not sure if this is going to help my ADHD at all... it feels like its escalating. Do any of these go away after the first few weeks?

I know there are a ton of reviews, stories and recommendations regarding generic Wellbutrin (bupropion) usage and duration but my case seems unique and cannot find anything remotely similar to it. I'll keep as short and sweet as possible: - I started on 150mg of Bupropion (Sandoz manufacturer) and had an INTENSE honeymoon starting on the third day. It lasted ~2 days and the effects felt almost identical to that of MDMA.

My dr, said she looked it up in her book, and Wellbutrin XL 150mg, is only prescribed for SAD and to quit smoking. She did not want to prescribe the XL at all no mater what I said. She prescribed me Regular Wellbutrin 100mg twice per day. I do not want the regular wellbutrin as it will make me shakey, and I will not follow through with taking 2 pills per day...

I take bupropion (Wellbutrin) but I take it for OCD/Anxiety. I believe I have undiagnosed ADD as well. For me it works well for my OCD/Anxiety. The ADD, well I have lived with that for so long that I think I have just found ways around the attention problems that I have so I can't really say that it helps or doesn't with that particular part of my life. If you have any specific questions about it, let me know and maybe I can give you a better answer.

If you have trouble sleeping, remember to take WELLBUTRIN XL in the morning. Do not change your dose or stop taking WELLBUTRIN XL without talking to your doctor.

I was very recently prescribed Wellbutrin XL, after trying several medications that have not helped [including Wellbutrin SR]. When I saw my doctor, she simply said 'I'm putting you on Wellbutrin twice daily' and I assumed it would be the SR. But what I was given was XL, with the instructions to take it twice a day [morning and around noon]. My doctor's office is closed today, or I would have asked her. I did ask the pharmacist, and he said that yes, this is okay.

I went from brands name Wellbutrin SR 150 mg once a day, which made me energized and active, to brand name Wellbutrin XL 300 mg once a day. Now I am sleepy, lethargic and there is no buzz or energy at all. What's up??

I have very strong feelings for all of them. I have cycled weakly while at 150mg on Wellbutrin XL, I have moved up to 300mg four or five days ago. I am anxious that when I am actually in their presence I may have a full blown episode. They don't last long with me, 4-5 days up, 4-5 days down. At this point I am looking for a short-term "insurance policy" to take only if I feel myself flipping out.

My doc prescribed Wellbutrin XL since the Lexapro made my depression even worse, excessive sleeping, etc. My question is - can I still take 1 mg of Klonopin to help with anxiety, prevent panic attacks? I've taken Wellbutrin before for a bad depression and know that it makes a person more energetic but also jittery at times. Any advice? Could I combine Lexapro 10 mg with the Wellbutrin XL 150 mg? m on 225 reg. Wellbutrin. The XL, extended release tablets stayed in my system long into the evening strong and kept me from being able to sleep well. I take it first thing in the morning as soon as I wake up.

Hmm. You may want to read some of the thing written on using low levels of wellbutrin xl for the ADHD. It helps with anxietey, depression and focus. Downside is that no one knows how or why welbutrin works. Regarding the dyslexia experiment with the different collors of clear plastic that you can use as a cover sheet? What type of dyslexia do you have? I can read really well but I mix some letters and numbers up when writing.

I had an allergic reaction to both, Adderall and Vyvanse, and my body refuses to metabolize these type of drugs properly. What do I do now? Just take Wellbutrin XL 150 for life? I'm a total disaster at work w/out the stimulants. Anyone knows of alternatives? I do take Omega-3s, vitamins, acetyl l-carnitine etc.

Will I gain weight or loss weight by takeing 300mg of Wellbutrin XL a day? I started loseing weight on the wellbutrin SR but he switched me to the XL because he said the SR doesn't go any higher then 200mg... What should I do???

I am a little sensitive to most (read almost every non antibiotic drug) but I have been doing well with the wellbutrin XL 150 and a wellbutrin 75 at lunch.

My doctor started me on Wellbutrin XL 150mg and I felt great the first couple of days, however I now get very depressed in the afternoons, dwelling on the past - how I could have done things better and how messed up my life is now, the doc wants to increase the dose to 300mg but these pills are expensive!! I can't afford to pay $120/month just for these....isn't there anything cheaper that would help?

Hi! I was diagnosed with ADD recently and I'm waiting to get back in to see my psychiatrist. My last office visit we spoke about the possible medications I could choose from if I completed ADD testing with another Psych. He mentioned Strattera (but he said he didn't feel that it worked), Adderall, and Ritalin. I'm currently on abilify and wellbutrin for depression and these meds, along with adderall and ritalin lower the seizure threshold.

Hello, i was taking Wellbutrin Xl 300mg for 2 yrs. the last 6 months i was taking a generic brand. However, i became very depressed i the last 2 months. i was hospilized 3 weeks ago. They took me off of Wellbutrin and now i take Celexa and Remeron. However, i dont like their side effects. So today i switched back to Wellbutrin. Can i do this? i took it around 9:20am this morning, then 20 min later i began to feel lightheaded and my heart was racing. Is this normal?
