Avatar f tn I feel like I'm not in the same place anymore. I have a new goal and that is why I joined Weight Watchers. I want to get on the road to maintaining my weight with more consistency. I'm tired of feeling bad about myself. I'm tired of it having to be all or nothing. I need to find a medium that works for me. Setting my goal for right after the holidays is quite daring but I'm really going to try and turn a new leaf with this.

It has a weight tracker on there thats better than any other I've used. I've broken out my Lesli Simmon - Walk Away Your Waistline DVD and I'm doing 3miles a day. and I'm not doing Weight Watchers but I bought the cook book so we can have healier good meals. I'm also doing Slimquick and Slimfast again. I think my goal I orignally was too much for the little time I planned it.

I said no my mom prepaid 10 weeks for me for my birthday. They said we don't have record of her paying for you. She paid for herself ten weeks. I said no that ten weeks was for me. After much arguing, I finally said fine give me my book I will make sure she gets a refund for the weeks left and I won't be back.
1462044 tn?1448398336 Since buying this new scale, I have been losing weight much more dramatically than ever before (check out my tracker!) because I feel like the scale will be disappointed in me if I'm not trying to lose the weight. The day I bought the new scale is the day my current goal started, and I'm so proud of myself and happy that I bit the bullet and just bought the expensive scale.

443968 tn?1288616289 My mother works at Weight Watchers on weekdays and on weekend (after her normal job) for fun, actually. She's a thin lady but has friends that work there and she loves it. So, I am a pro at Weight Watchers and have GREAT cookbooks, etc. I will say that it has always worked for me to lose 2-3 lbs a week and seriously, the food in Weight Watchers cook books are DELICIOUS. If anyone wants to join me on a New Year's resolution and cheer each other on, I'd love that and can share some recipes!

You get great ideas for recipes, and for healthy snacks that taste great and fill you up. I only had to go for 12 weeks and I lost 35 pounds, (quite easily - can you believe it?) Now I have a lifetime membership, which means I can attend meetings for free as long as I stay within my goal weight.

Avatar n tn I would say that it is a 50/50 chance whether you would lose weight in the long run as the product wasn't designed as a weight loss product. (but I'm not a doctor so your dr. might be able to tell you what to expect).

I am doing weight watcher and it would benefit me so much if I could just enter my foods once in one sight / day. Right now I only do weight watchers because I hate entering it twice. I would really rather enter it here since this sight is more helpful.

Avatar f tn Actually, I don't know why I'm saying that, because it's not like I'm going to give up and stay fat if it doesn't happen in that time frame. But I had to put something in the weight tracker, and 3 months seemed reasonable.

I've lost about 15 lbs so far. But its hard when my weight loss isn't as predictable as it is for other people. Sometimes I lose too much in a week, other times I gain, without every changing calorie consumption or exercise level. But if I wait long enough it all evens out with a net loss eventually.

You should definately try weight watchers, its brilliant if you work in an office too because you have an online tracker, were you log everything you eat and it minus's points for you!!!
Avatar f tn My daughter was never a small girl but when she lived home and she struggled with her weight I would take her to the doctor, we joined weight watchers together, etc. Also in high school she was very athletic. She went to college and developed bad eating habits and I'm sure a lot of partying. She put on a lot of weight then. Now she is 23. She's a teacher and works long hrs. She moved out of our house about year ago and now lives closer to her work.

I had surgury on my back in August of '03 and since then is when I started to gain the weight. I find it hard to exersise because of the pain I get from it. Any support would be beneficial.

Avatar f tn i bought all the materials and started to gear myself up for another weight loss journey. my whole life became weight watchers. the meetings, the points, the recipes. however, after 4 weeks, yes only 4 weeks, and 6lbs lost, i headed back down the same unhealty road. after determining (months later) that the key to my success was exercise, i decided to buy a treadmill. treadmill, treadmill, treadmill!! that was all my husband heard about for 2 weeks.

Avatar m tn Being a bloke, I found that as bit off putting and that fell by the wayside. I've been to weight watchers and again, found the support and the whole pitch just past me by... So, here is a new angle for me - to try a forum where there is an interactive commuity. I;ve created my weight tracker and hopefully the target I've set I can stick to or close to. WIth a bit of support and a good kick up the back-side, I will hopefully achieve something this year.

He's excited to have something else to do with me and told me "the two of us spent a long time apart while we were with the wrong people...now that we've found each other, I want us to have many years together and to be as healthy as possible...plus it's something else we can do together, please baby don't be hurt".
