Could we have the ability to create our own events or rename those there? I do ball rolling and dance classes. I'd also like to track events that are not beneficial like business trip, vacation, parties, etc.

Every year I have to get a disability form filled out by my doctor to say I'm still disabled for my LTD. Last year it was a nightmare getting this done. Each of my doctors would fill out their section of the form, but none of them wanted to fill out the overall section as that was not part of their area. I finally got one of them to fill out that section by yelling at him in a hallway.

Could the symptoms of the menstrual tracker be added to the mood tracker? I appreciate that symptoms that appear on both trackers are automatically updated/cross-referenced, but not all symptoms are on both trackers.

This helps us be accountable and visually see our progress. Next, you mention that you are not out of breath and your dog stops every second. With all due respect, I do not believe you are receiving the highest level of benefits from your exercise effort.

Avatar f tn Since you have a family history of diabetes, I'd have to ask if you've checked with your doctor to make sure you don't have any underlying medical issues such as hypothyroidism, PCOS and/or insulin resistance, which can be a forerunner to type II diabetes. You should also check side effects of any meds you might be taking to see if weight gain is one of them and if so, you might ask your doctor for something else that might not cause weight gain. Can you tell us what kinds of things you eat?
Avatar n tn I would say that it is a 50/50 chance whether you would lose weight in the long run as the product wasn't designed as a weight loss product. (but I'm not a doctor so your dr. might be able to tell you what to expect).

I don't know about everyone else, but this past year has been a challenge for me, both physically and emotionally. I'm quite sure that I've gained and lost the same 5 lbs, at least weekly for the past couple years. Sometimes, frustration runs high, other times I look at lab results or my notes on how I felt at a given time and decide to "forgive" myself.

2150264 tn?1337225644 You'll have to incorporate some form of exercise. Weight training would be best, but if you can even walk for 30 minutes/day or something. Most employers give a lunch and break times; maybe you could get in a few minutes of exercise then. It doesn't all have to be in one block of time. You could do 10 minutes in the morning, before work, 10 minutes at lunch and 10 minutes in the evening.

Avatar f tn As you can see from my weight tracker, my weight has not changed much since December when I made these big changes but it takes time and it takes daily exercise. You might want to get checked to see if you are insulin resistant, or if you have other similar issues. I am reading one of Mary Shomon’s books; “Living Well with Graves' Disease and Hyperthyroidism” There are some great tips in the book and some good explanations.

( I am exercising about 5 hours nearly every week; I eat lots of fruit and vegetables; I eat only a small amount of fat; I rarely cheat; I don't eat after supper time.) I take medication for high blood pressure and low thyroid and get a yearly check up.
Avatar f tn But remember one thing.....the weight you had before Meds was not your normal 'real weight'. I was hyper with Graves and I had 'hyper weight' . I was skinny and sick looking. I used to fluctuate for years....sometimes fat, sometimes skinny. Metabolism slows down a lot with thyroid issues and I would be a liar if I said I knew people who went back to pre-thyroid issue weight. I know of no-one doing this. Losing weight is possible but it is a slow process.

Tell her when you go to the park and see if she'd like to go with you and walk and talk .. or play frisbee ... or ask her what she'd like to do for "fun" ... like paddle boating ... and then go do it with her ... without any mention of weight and only positive thoughts .. like .. it is so nice to have you and I love us doing things together.
