Avatar n tn I'm on week 31 of tx. The HepC is no longer active and I only have 17 weeks remaining on the program. The results are very positive. However, I still suffer from all the major side effects and had to go on leave to try and just focus on my health. The most important one to me has been my weight loss. Since the beginning, 03/09, I've lost 60 lbs and am still loosing. My appetite has been little to none, but I am attempting to change that.

Avatar f tn The slower you lose the weight, the better chance you will be able to maintain your weight loss. Eating 5-6 small meals a day is a good way to eat and it improves digestion. Recommend you eat something at the beginning of the day, even if it is a yogurt smoothie. If your smoothies have a full fruit serving, then it does count as 1 fruit and the same with V8. Suggest eating salads/vegetables instead of drinking V8 due to the increase value of fiber.

Avatar f tn Hi, so I'm 24 and I have a 8mth old. Idk how much I weigh but a few mths ago I was around 160 and I'm sure I'm no bigger than 170. I don't really care about numbers I know what weight feels and looks right to me. But I kno I have to get a scale to accurately track my weight :/ Anywho Im 5'1 and I was about 135 in march 2012 a few mths before I got pregnant. I have a really active and attached baby boy who makes it difficult for me to workout at home.

I disliked cold water but can't drink anything unless it's cold now. I've read some ladies wanting to supplement with boost and the like.
Avatar f tn I had my wisdom and to mollers taken out in mid October, They said they removed a cist as well , on the left side deep in the jaw ,and that would be the side to take more time to heal. well months are going by, and i have had severe weight loss due to not being able to eat well , i do alot of smoothies now, but I am becomiing malformed on left side of face jaw swells often, and i feel hard movible type lumps all through my jaw , what do you think is wrong with me? Avatar f tn Hi Channah, It's always good to seer you here - but sorry to hear about your continuing struggles with your appetite. You assumed that your opiate medications were responsible for your lack of appetite. I commend you for being able to reduce your medications to such as small amount. Most of us could not function with such a huge reduction. If it was not that opiates causing your lack of appetite - than it's time for a serious and thorough medical evaluation.

Avatar f tn Cinnamon is a metabolism booster so I put it on air-popped popcorn, oatmeal, and toast. Another thing that I read was good for weight loss is coconut oil...so good! I use it on everything! I put flaxseed in my smoothies everyday and sometimes chia seed. I eat raw almonds for a crunchy snack. I drink Bod.e Burn before I exercise though I usually just take a long walk. Just get up and move! Remember to eat every 3 hours...a lean protein, a complex carb, and a healthy fat! Drink lots of water...
