Weight loss pills that are safe

Common Questions and Answers about Weight loss pills that are safe

Avatar m tn So, i am trying to lose weight. I start taking Xenical Weight Loss Pills since yesterday. Is that pill work ? Does anyone take those pills before ? Are there any terrible side effects ? Please suggest me and advice me.
Avatar f tn I'm sorry, but there is NO weight loss program that's going to help you lose more than 6-8 pounds in only 3 weeks. Safe weight loss is considered to be 1-2 pounds/week; any more than that is likely to cause health issues. Diet pills usually don't work and those that do, often come with adverse side effects. In addition, once you go off the pills, all of the weight comes back, often with even more weight.
Avatar f tn 15 pounds in a month is too much to do safely. Safe weight loss is 1-2 pounds/week. What have you tried, so far?
Avatar n tn I am interested in taking a weight loss pill that increases my energy and decreases my appetite. Does anyone have any suggestions that are actually legitimate and safe?
Avatar n tn I know thee is alot of weight contol pills uot ther but are thy safe. Please if you know of something I can do that will help me.. I have tried eating less and I dont eat too much I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO .....Not just for the looks, because they are so stretched out I feel my legs hurting too. PLEASE HELP ... What can I do??????????
Avatar f tn There aren't FDA approved weight loss pills because they don't exist and they don't really help you keep the weight off. Pills that clean your colon allow you to lose weight but it's not the fat that you are losing. Other pills allow you to lose about five pounds in water weight wich you will gain back after going off the pills. In my experience, after trying every diet known to man, losing weight, gaining it all back plus some, I have a new outlook on weight loss which might help you as well.
Avatar n tn Just tell your doctor you can't lose any weight or you're gaining weight. Maybe he can help with the weight loss.
Avatar n tn Plus she can tell her friends that she didn't have to resort to pills she lost the weight herself. The pills will also mess with her metabolism so that when she stops taking them her body will store fat and it will be harder to get rid of it than it is now. Best wishes.
Avatar n tn I am so shocked to hear this - it screams of 2 things - desperation or addiction. This is not safe, or healthy - She is obviously comfortable injecting herself and able to get hold of needles and syringes but what on earth gave her the idea to do this.... I would suggest 'your friend' stops doing this immediatley and seeks medical advice and counsel on the best way to lose weight SAFELY!
Avatar n tn What effect, if any, does HCG have on weight loss? Also, is it safe to use?, ie, are there any side effects and/or reactions that can occur? Since HCG determines pregnancy can a female exibit any changes consistent with pregnancy? What side effects can a male exibit taking HCG? Thanks.
Avatar m tn Make sure your doctor knows everything that you are taking (if you are taking herbs). People think that herbs are safe and will not hurt them, but they can interfer with medication and make things worse. The best thing to do is eat healthy by eating fresh vegetables, fruit, brown rice. Rice is filling and is good for you. If you buy fresh organic vegetables, they have a lot of flavor and little to no margarine is needed.
Avatar f tn They have a lot of vitamins in them. After the diet is over, is safe/good or bad that I continue taking the pills, maybe once a day...to maintain my weight loss? Or is it best to stop taking them?
Avatar n tn Can anyone please provide me wiht some information as to how to lose the weight and what I can expect realistically. Are any diet aids- pills safe to take without risking my heatlh. I excerise 3-4 days a week not sur ehow else to fix this disease.
Avatar n tn I wanted to stay as natural-based as possible, and that's why I went the route of B12/Lipotropics and also B6/B12/Lipotropics... plus all three of my doctors (Endocrine, Cardio, and Primary Care) gave a thumbs up to my health regimen (and just recently added the Myoden injection to help with the Potassium and Sodium processing in my body) because there are no adverse side effects. Since I have severe Thyroid antibody problems, I have a lot of adverse reactions to many meds and OTC products...
Avatar n tn ' in Mexico charges $25 for 5 shots (you choose your problem areas) and gives you pills as well. Visits are once a month only! If anyone is familiar with this or knows anything...I would greatly apprecitate it!
Avatar n tn those test mean anything at all? 3. I have no explanation for weight loss. second/third week I had headache for 3-4 occasions 4. Do ARS symptoms come all at once or one by one? 5. If my symptoms are due to hiv, shouldn't DNA test show something? Please help...I am in extreme stress...
Avatar n tn proper exercise as you can digest your food. See weight loss is not a fly by night process. It takes time. common weight loss mistakes are as follows: (1) you have to fix your diet plan according to you(becuase u r obese) not according to a average person. this thing is often ignored by most of the people. because they follow a diet plan that is suitable for an average healthy man.
Avatar f tn Safe weight loss is considered to be 1-2 lbs/week. You might be able to lose more than that, but since your body isn't fully developed yet, you shouldn't try to, because you will set yourself up for health issues as you get older. You'll need to talk to whomever does your cooking to make sure they prepare the veggies and lean proteins you need to give you the nutrients you need to stay healthy.
Avatar f tn I want to no do you think hcg will help to speed up my weight loss. im very healthy no complication at all from wls. just frustrated that i havent lost any weight in 4 months.
Avatar f tn It's recommended to keep weight loss between 1-2 lbs a week. Usually in your first week that may be a little more depending on how big of a change you make, but an average of 1-2 lbs a week is ideal. I also think it's important to avoid all those easy quick weight loss things- those pills, meals, shakes, etc don't teach you how to keep this weight off. What you really need is a complete lifestyle change so you never ever get back your excess weight. The first thing you need to do is eat right.
Avatar n tn Congradulations on the weight loss. I need to find out what you are eating on the plan to lose weight. My doctor in greenbelt gave a bad diet plan. You can only eat meat at lunch and no more meat for the rest of the day. I just started and need to find another diet plan to use. I will keep going to get the B-12 shot, but need another diet plan.
Avatar m tn Now with that being said I myself am considering bariatric aka weight loss surgery but as a tool to help me loose the weight that I have been unable to loose on my own but this is not even a cure not by a long shot However, it is something to consider. Now for every one that is reading this, think about this, what is causing the pcos? is it the chemicals in our food or in the water? is it our life styles?
Avatar n tn I don't think a lot of doctors are concerned about them and don't go over the many things that could be causing the weight gain that are linked to depression. I am a certified personal trainer who has had a long history of depression and also grew up in a family full of psychiatrists and psychologists. Take my opinion for whatever you think it is worth.
Avatar f tn less than 3 weeks after delivery, and im back at my prepregnancy weight(i gained 33lbs while preggo). im wondering how safe this is. on top of it all, i have no appetite. i take my prenatal pills, but im wondering if thats ok for the baby? he had a 2 week check up and he weighed a whole pound more from his weight when he was discharged, so im sure he's eating properly. in fact the dr mentioned that 1lb in 2 weeks may be too much gained.
Avatar n tn Most doctors are ethical and realize that HCG injections for weight loss were banned by the FDA a long time ago! However, there are some doctors who seem more interested in the money they can make, than they are in what is BEST for their patients! Caveat emptor!
Avatar f tn I have not seen the loss of appetite or weight loss others above have discussed and I would never take a pain medication for weight loss unless under the care of a doctor who specifically prescribed this for weight loss. There are stronger pain relievers (hydrocodone and other true opiates), but the side effects are just too extreme for me. The worst side effect I have ever had with Tramadol is nauseated - for some it is important to take this on a full stomach.
Avatar n tn I think that will put me right around the recommended 34lbs of weight loss, perhapes a bit more than that. I'm so close to my goal of 195lbs that I'm hoping I make it... but regardless of reaching that lofty goal, the program has been a tremendous success in my eyes. Next week, when I end the program I'll post my final results with inches lost, etc. I will make sure to post during my Phase 3 progress (as you've requested) and hopfully the weight stays off, right?
Avatar n tn It should take about 2 months to get to that dosage but I'm getting kinda excited hearing about the benefit of weight loss especially since it was weight loss pills (metabolife and xenedrine) that caused me to find out that I was epileptic in the first place! The doctor told me that i might get tingling in my fingers and i might feel a little dopy but happy dopy he described it as, so I figure i can deal with that! If I start losing weight at a rapid pace i'll definitely post again!
