1458590 tn?1333403812 ) Try not to look at your weight loss goal of 40 pounds, as that seems like a mountain....maybe aim for 6 pounds this month, and maybe 4-5 pounds a month thereafter. This may mean it takes a while to reach your main goal but the smaller goals will feel more achievable! Good luck!

1457506 tn?1293548442 For example, my weight loss is not going as fast as my goal, so I cannot see where I am supposed to be on my goal line anymore, because the weight tracker does not allow you to see the whole picture. Could you create a way to see the entire graph? Thanks.

Avatar m tn Hello. I'm new and terrified for a friend who says she's been diagnosed with Lyme disease. At first, I had no reason to believe otherwise. However, I'm not sure now. She has lost an extreme amount of weight. A couple of years ago when this all began, she was losing weight quickly and couldn't eat anything unless it was pureed. Without going into all the details, she presented all the signs of anorexia and still does.
Avatar n tn It is a very aggressive form of cancer that is usually wide spread before any symptoms are noted. The symptoms usually include loss of appetite, severe weight loss, lethargy, weakness and general poor condition and sometimes high temperatures. Hystiocytic Sarcoma mostly presents as a malignant neoplasia of internal organs with widespread metastasis.
Avatar f tn I think that it makes sense to focus on the weight loss. I would see a professional about your knee and get expert advice. The knee might even be a symptom of some other injury/ deficit. Like a back or foot problem. The volume of training would depend on what your goals are. To finish, just spending the time on your feet will help. I would be monitoring the ?injury. See the doctor, see what triggers it, etc. Good nutrition during a half helps. Use the aid stations. Stay hydrated.
Avatar n tn what i am asking is if this unexplained weight loss can be due to anxiety.....i see photos of myself from 6 months ago and im sure my cheekbones are less prominent and i can feel them now.....is it anxiety....

Avatar f tn The most optimum weight loss that will stay off is if you lose 1-2lbs a week. Anymore than that and will come right back. By July you could lose about 30 pounds if you eat right and maintain a healthy workout plan, but any more than that and you will gain it back very quickly. I've always found by obsessing over the number on the scale does no good. It's about feeling good and being healthy.

Avatar m tn The Atlanta chapter of the NAACP called Monday for the elimination of all symbols of the Confederacy from Stone Mountain Park, whose marquee attraction is the 90-foot-high, 190-foot-wide sculpture carved deep into the mountain. "Those guys need to go,” chapter leader Richard Rose told WSB-TV, referring to Davis, the former president of the Confederate States of America, and the two Confederate generals.
Avatar n tn m making the assumption that you are presently weighing more, hopefully over 117 lbs) The concern here is that you might have a serious issue deeper issue which leads to you having a distorted view of a healthy and desirable body image. The consequences of being severely underweight can be detrimental to your health and well-being. I suspect that your body fat percentage is already low to sustain healthy hormonal, cognitive and neurological function.
Avatar f tn As I have mentioned in an earlier post, the diagnosis of pulmonary tuberculosis (PTB) is made based on the presence of symptoms (chronic cough of at least two weeks duration, fever, night sweats or weight loss) and a positive result in sputum microscopy or culture. PTB is not diagnosed from chest x-ray findings ALONE. Your friend's x-ray results stating the presence of "irregular densities" in the upper lobes SUGGESTS a diagnosis of PTB, but this is NOT A DEFINITIVE diagnosis.
