748543 tn?1463449675 For the past few weeks I have been throwing around ideas as to the best way to respond to this matter. You see a recent article ( Feb.3 , 2009 NY times) titled "Best treatment for TMJ May be Nothing" nearly made me clench my jaw to pieces. While well written, I found that the author, Ms. Brody, relied heavily on out dated and narrow perspective supplied to her by a small group of dentists.
Avatar n tn ) while looking for weight loss recommendations for those who had thyroid issues...and it has been incredibly cathartic for me. To share a bit about my story: I had a TT four years ago (May 2008) at 32 yo, both sides were cancerous and had radioactive iodine treatment a few weeks after surgery. Was put on 112 mcg sythroid for two years, then 100 mcg (my current dosage). Also trying to get pregnant now with fertility treatments, no success yet.
Avatar m tn and can be symptoms of both hypo and hyper. For example, people who have a (genetic?) tendency to gain weight can start putting on pounds both hypo and hyper. Many of us with years of experience with thyroid meds can pretty much tell our doctors whether we're hypo or hyper, but even some of us occasionally get ourselves into trouble this way. Lab support helps you to distinguish.

There was no need for vaccination while 'in-country' since the process was to be adequately vaccinated before departure. To possibly connect, or disconnect, some dots...It does not make sense that Viet Vets were the infecting source through the air/jets. You see, the Vets would not be in the innoculation line with the newly-minted recruits.

472570 tn?1274689487 The vinegar works very well on my carpet for the most part, for the type of bites that I described at the beginning of this post. I also steam clean my carpet frequently along with vinegar solution spray in between cleanings. I think there are other types of microscopic bugs that are airborne and I havent found a remedy for those yet.
Avatar n tn If it's an allergy (for me) I think it might be to MSG, if it's an intolerance (again for me) at the moment I'm thinking it's to very fatty foods. It's always worse when I'm stressing about something. Does any of that apply to you? You can get IBS tabs over the counter (we can here in UK anyway). Or you might want to try testing out foods to see if you are allergic/intolerant. It's a pain to do this (I keep meaning to, but haven't yet).
