327385 tn?1378360731 Weight gain is usually blamed on aging but it is also because of muscle depletion from exercise done during our childhood/youth. (Muscles help us maintain high metabolism). So those who were not fit in their youth in the first place would find it harder to tone muscles. You would also already possess the mindset required (drive, endurance etc) You'll be alright.

Began having throat problems and went to doctor who has referred me to specialist for thyroid. I go today.I will tell him.

Avatar m tn s not a good idea to start with heavy weight right on. So when you start you should be doing 2X12 or 15 with light weight then gradually increase weight then go for 3X12 and when you feel comfortable you can go for mass building which is 2X6 or 7 with heavy weights. To know what is the appropriate weight you have to be barely able to lift the 6th or 7th repetition. If you have no problem doing all the 7 repetitions then it's time to add weight.

Will you please suggest a complete effective diet chart and a exercise routine to loose at least 7 kg within a month. He has to work a lot. So only one hour he can spend on his exercise time. Avatar f tn Yes they CAN make you if baby isnt gaining 10% every so often bc then baby is being starved and there's no retention in the body fat. If you choose not to and babys weight gain is normal even if dr advises it is one thing but if baby isnt progressing adequately and u refuse dr orders thats different.

You may consult a nutritionist and get a diet chart made which will provide you adequate calories in a healthy way. Avoid taking any supplements as they can be damaging to both your physical and mental health. If you are having a good diet and are free from any illness you should not be worried about your weight.

Avatar f tn Please help! I had back surgery in 2009 and put on alot of weight due to constant pain and neuropathy. I have not worked since and have been sedentary for past 6 yrs. I decided 6 weeks ago to do something about it. As of 6 weeks ago I started walking 45 min a day, use an eliptical twice a day 30 min each time, cut out all carbs do only spark, water, protein shakes veggies. Went to dr yesterday and have not lost even a pound. Feel so angry depressed sad etc... What am I doing wrong?
Avatar m tn Ask your doc to give you a fecal blood stool test. You use it for about 3-5 days and wipe some of your stool on the chart....(sounds gross, but works) and then it goes to a lab for processing to see if anything more than hemorrhoids. Also, a good way to relieve hemorrhoids is to use a "sitz bath" with epsom salts. These are available at most pharmacies for about $30 and you fill it with warm water with some epsom salts and place over the hopper to bathe your sore area.
Avatar n tn As was suggested, you need to use the BOM chart for your weight and size. Being to small is not good for anyone. You are young, you are going to want to have a family and being small will not be productive to that. Get out live a little. Mind the charts for age and grow healthy.
