Another way to look at fat versus muscles is that a cubic inch of muscle will weigh more than a cubic inch of fat. Muscle is about 18 percent more dense than fat. So a better question is am I in shape or do i need to convert more areas of fat to muscle? With that said, here is a weight chart that should only be used to give you an idea, so don't take it as gospel.

Avatar n tn Calories are not the major factor in weight gain or loss. Some high calorie foods are great for weight, such as fatty fish. The biggest factor is how you metabolize what you eat into sugar and how well you digest what you eat. I don't think any calorie calculator will help you lose weight, but basically, if you increase the output of energy you will probably lose weight. If you cut down on the amount you eat without eliminating the healthy foods you will probably lose weight. Slowly.

When I wasnt pregnant I was 163 and my bmi was considered overweight. According to bmi and weight I should be 140 pounds. I'm sorry but if I was 140 pounds I would look way to skinny and boney. Even the Dr told me that!! So don't go by that.
Avatar m tn I would suggest you to work a diet chart with the help of a dietician and squeeze all the extra calories and do cardio for 30-45 minutes regularly to decrease your weight proportionally. Continue doing other forms for limited time along with cardio. Take care!
1810212 tn?1316457901 You have to chart for a couple cycles to see what your average base temp is and when you have a spike of at least .4 degrees you ovulated the DAY BEFORE. If you're unsure or have irregular cycles just have sex every other day from 18 days before your period start to about 10 days before...that's what I did and I just stopped worrying about everything else and got pregnant soon after.

Avatar n tn Calculate your BMR from any calculator on the net and plan out a diet chart based on the required calorie count. You can choose your own options from various free calorie counters. MedHelp too has these calorie counters. You can track your weight on MedHelp too. Other than this diabetes, hyperthyroidism, gut problems causing poor absorption and worms in stool all cause weight loss or could be responsible for your inability to gain weight.

Her needs increase as she grows and then levels off after she stops growing (after 18 years old). For a 4-6 year old they need approximately 1700-1800 calories a day. If you are concerned about her weight then it is recommended to increase children's physical activities. Have your child go do running, walking, sports, and etc.

It's located in the Pregnancy Community, so if you join the community, it'll show up in your Shortcuts. Then you'll be able to quickly go to the community and click Trackers & Calculators to access the calculator. If you're referring to the Ovulation Tracker, the tracker should already be on your home page.

Most of the calculators online assume you're over 20. I agree totally with Red -- weight alone doesn't say much about health or fitness.

Avatar f tn Excercise at least 30 minutes a day and get your heart rate into the fat burning zone based on your age. For me, my weight range is 135-165. My body is naturally stabilizing at 155. But I do cardio and weight train everyday. The weight training is very important as it builds lean body mass and that is what makes you look good. Not your overall weight. If you just lost a lot of weight like me, you may have excess skin and that can only be corrected by surgery.

I don't like that she's so small but I feel better writing down what shes eating. They both have a healthy child check up next month Im gonna definitely ask the dr. then and weigh them both again. Hopefully she'll gain something! A friend said pediasure could help her gain weight. ? Would it be ok to feed her that?
