352007 tn?1372861481 Those are not due to age or anything like that. What has caused those lesions? I'd say, never go see that neuro again.
Avatar n tn I have taken her to the Dr to be measure to make use she is on line with growth and weight. According to her chart which they hold the trend is that she is has gone taller but her weigth is about the same. I am more worried for her later on .She does have a eats the same as my 10year old who is not skinny but just right. I need any advice please.
Avatar n tn As was suggested, you need to use the BOM chart for your weight and size. Being to small is not good for anyone. You are young, you are going to want to have a family and being small will not be productive to that. Get out live a little. Mind the charts for age and grow healthy.
Avatar f tn Brandy, according to this chart, he is well below even the 1% mark, indicating he is "off the chart" low. http://www.keepkidshealthy.com/growthcharts/boysbirth.html Has he always been low weight? How is his height compared to the chart? That was something our pediatrician always looked for - a consistent pattern.

119874 tn?1189759429 5 or so mg per kg of body weight. Generally, I think you want to be over 15. Divide your weight in lbs by 2.2 to get kg. 165/2.2 = 75kg 75kg X 15.5 = 1,162.5 mg or supposing you were taking 800 mg for 165 lbs: 165/2.2 = 75kg 800kg/75kg = 10.6 (quite a bit outside of our 13.3 - 15.
Avatar f tn It seemed to progress with age with me as well. Diagnosed firmly at age 38. I just went downhill like **** on a hot tin roof! One day I seemed to have it together and then the next BOOM - fallin' apart. That isn't really the case - I fell apart slowly and progressively- but still - all the books I've read talk about the disorder getting worse as we age or if it has been left untreated due to something called "kindling". Look it up - research it.
1626068 tn?1303760162 18.5 = weight / (1.67)^2 weight = 18.5 * 2.7889 Weight (minimum) = 51.6 kg 24.9 = weight / (1.67)^2 weight = 24.9 * 2.7889 Weight (maximum) = 69.44 kg So the healthy weight range for someone with 1.67 m is between 51.6 to 69.44 kg. I hope this helps.
Avatar n tn When my husband and I were married just over two years, trying to get pregnant that whole time, we sought the help of infertility specialists. At the time I was about 165 lb at 5'3. I started to gain weight at about age 25 and at age 31 I was very overweight even with diet and exercise. My cycles were all over the place as well. My husband is Air Force and infertility is not exactly first on their list of things to help people with.
Avatar n tn I haven't had any migranes, I'm not dreadfully tired and as an added bonus, it is already helping me to lose weight. I have struggled with weight all of my life, so knowing that this can help is wonderful. I eat smart and exercise, but before, I slept all the time. Now I don't eat as much and I have more energy. It is great hope for anyone with epilepsy, migranes, maia, but I don't think it should be prescribed for people as a weight loss pill.
Avatar f tn My unhappieness and insecurity about the weight had led me to wanting to change my lifestyle... and loose about 30 lbs. I am going into my 7th full week of going to the gym in the morning before work. I do between 20-37 minutes of cardio (depending on what time I make it to the gym) on the eliptical or treadmill. I go at least 4 times a week, sometimes 5. Twice a week I do some light weight training.
Avatar n tn I think it is because I have always eaten healthy and loved to exercise. Just wasn't doing enough (I suppose) to drop the weight. Once I hit 35 it sure got alot tougher. Best of Luck.
Avatar n tn Although I am not a person living with diabetes, I can relate to the frustration when you do not know what to do when your weight is not where you would like to to be.
1278876 tn?1304911919 So my question is she was 6lb 3 oz at birth and 6lb 5 oz at her two week check. She is now 8lb 13 oz, according to my electronic kitchen scale that i use for weighing baking ingredients, its never let me down when weighing accurately. Does it sound like she is gaining enough or too much?

17239077 tn?1454878724 Blood volume increases between 12 and 20 percent after three to six cardio sessions, according to the authors of the book “Exercise Physiology, Energy, Nutrition & Human Performance.” The size and the number of mitochondria or energy-producing organelles in your skeletal muscle cells increase, adding to your lean muscle weight-gain. Aerobic exercise generates an increase in the capillaries surrounding each muscle cell, especially those muscles highly engaged in your activity.
Avatar n tn The doctor didn't feel like gall bladder was involved and I did have food poisoning when I went to ER that time just took the right dr to let me know. The diagnosis as of now is weight gain due to stress and age related. I am staying on top of it and will post if anything happens differently. Still have a prego looking gut but am walking so xxx(fingers crossed).
Avatar n tn I am now just tapering off Effexor after 3.5 yrs and 40+ lb weight gain (I refuse to get on the scale now). I have worked my way down to 75 mg after being at 300mg and yes, I've had crazy side effects. My Dr told me as well it wasn't the drug making me gain weight but I *know* it was. When 1st started the Effexor I did some research and saw that people had gained weight but I figured the depression was the bigger of the 2 demons.
964096 tn?1299510936 Please calculate your BMI and it relates with your height, weight and age. Go to a dietician to chalk out a good balanced diet chart for yourself. When the input and output of energy balances you do not lose weight. But before that you should remember that if your are in normal range of BMI do not worry that much and continue the good work you are doing. Do not stress your body and if you, other problems will arise. Take care!
Avatar n tn www.marchofdimes.com has a good weight-gain chart, go to the site, click on pregnancy, and then click on toolkit.
Avatar f tn I am considering going to a weight loss clinic to get a Rx for Adipex (phentermine). I am eager to know if anyone has gone down this route and it’s success rate. I’ve taken it in the past with great results but this time around I don’t know if it will work. I also haven’t found any contraindications but want to check to be sure. Any advise will help a great deal. Thank you all! Sorry about the long post.
Avatar n tn Diet chart is the way to go, what is low carb for you may not be proper for your body to lose weight. Go to a dietician and plan a neat diet chart of 500 cals less than the recommended calories of your age and height, take proteins, minerals, vitamins, high fibre carbohydrate, some fat without cholesterol. + dance which is intense so that you lose atleast 500 cals in 1 to 11/2 hrs. Take care, as with this you will lose weight!
Avatar n tn So I am 2 days into my vit b12 shot and my Phen and I hope to lose the weight to get back into belly dancing. Wish me luck. My starting weight 208 at 5' 6'' Good luck to everyone and keep up the great work!
958098 tn?1246812818 If not you try doing skipping, jogging in the neighbourhood, floor exercises, yoga, basketball etc. Calculate your BMI and also according to your age prepare a neat diet chart and stick to that. Do not consume fried food, desserts, choclates, icecreams, fast foods, etc. Exercise combined with Diet will do wonders on you. Take care!
Avatar n tn I don't see any connection to someone entering an induction dosing trial where I assume you will initially receive higher amounts of interferon but a standard weight-based dose of ribavrin. Induction dosing has been shown to be more effective than SOC in prior non-responders, and my guess is that they are also trialing it for first-time treaters as well but really not sure.
Avatar m tn pick immune boosting effect of intf is after 48weeks of use according to latest studies, that s to say even the 48weeks intf course we have now is wrong i think you better get tenofovir and then intf add on, even if you dont clear hbsag you will clear hbeag and will be able to keep immune control of drugs
Avatar f tn This next week I'm suppose to be incorporating suboxone throughout week according to a taper chart he has given me. However, my story is this, First day I think the gave me an 8mg subutex and told me to take half in the morning and half at night. Well next day i took less than 4mgs day after that probablly 1mg, next day a .5, next day maybe .25, next day a crumb. I have felt little to no withdrawls. Just one night of a half night sleep and a little irrability....
405614 tn?1329147714 Actually, i think I saw an infomercial for that! I rarely get queasy enough to lose weight. I did for a few weeks, but then I ate for comfort and gained the lost pounds back, doggone it! Ess, I hope this is your last bout of vertigo. Terry, I'll be interested in hearing about the results of your VNG. Octarine, I've tried Meclizine, Scopalamine, and Xanax; I think the Scopaline may have helped some, but that was years ago.
Avatar m tn near Seattle you are referring to? I had my Retina surgery in Seattle and went to 4 of the top Seattle (according to my research anyways) retina specialists. #1) Dr. Kenneth Fung: He trained under Dr. Charles in Memphis, where Jodie was happy with her surgery. I had Dr. Fung do my "membrane peel/vitrectomy surgery" about 3 years ago. #2) Dr. Nash #3) Dr. Francis #4) Dr. Yeh in Tacoma, WA Where do you live?
