Avatar f tn I think it is your preference. I will have my daughter in a sleeper for the first month at least. I want her right next to me. The crib is safe, but I will be more comfortable with the sleeper.
Avatar n tn I know a lady who had a water birth a few months ago. She liked it and recommended it. My lactation consultant also recommended it, she had her last child in a tub. They both said it was more comfortable than their previous experiences. That said, my doctor won't do a water birth for health and safety reasons. (Can get complicated, put more risk on the baby, make it logistically harder to deliver.) Check out all your options and weigh the risks and benefits.

669941 tn?1252480058 Hello and welcome....I don't believe "Right Now" is a good idea, either. It sounds as if you already have your hands full and with another baby coming; adding a puppy (Of any kind) to the mix is a mistake, IMO. Puppies require alot of attention and direction. It wouldn't be fair to him/her or to you trying to attend to everyone and train a puppy. One rescue, that I'm familiar with, will NOT adopt to families with children under 10. There's a reason for this.
Avatar f tn I don't know, but if your water supply has chlorine, or worse, chloramine, you should protect your lungs with a water filter that can filter those out. Find out if you have chloramine because filtering that one is more expensive. They are probably doing you more harm than the mask fumes.

Avatar f tn But kids who got 2,000 IU/day vitamin D3 saw their vitamin D levels soar -- to 38 ng/mL for girls and to 35 ng/mL for boys. None of the kids showed signs of vitamin D toxicity. "Supplementation of children and adolescents with 2,000 IU a day of vitamin D3 is well tolerated and safe," El-Hajj Fuleihan says. Avatar f tn yes the size is a great bonus but there are other considerations for safety with SUVs....honestly, we got a minivan. which is so funny because I never had one growing up and I spent my childhood making fun of them. But I would recommend something like a Toyota Camry or Avalon...or a Honda Accord.
Avatar n tn My 12 year old son has no regard for personal and others safety. He continually makes bad choices. So far, we are lucky and no one has been hurt. But I worried for the future. We do not know what to do. We are a very safety oriented family and always taught safety comes first. Our older son, 14 years old, never has had an issue making a bad choice. We also have a 6 year old daughter. Most of his bad choices revolve around putting her in dangerous situations when we are not looking.
