It is worth a try because accutane has its own side effects and especially for girls who may be sexually active...I'm not saying that your daughter is though...but getting pregnant while on accutane is very bad.
I highly prefer Vyvanse over adderall because I do not suffer from side effects w/Vyvanse as with the adderall. The Vyvanse is much smoother than most all other adhd drugs. I have never experienced shortness of breath while taking Vyvanse, however, I am 25 years old and 180lbs. I am also a Registered Nurse. I would imagine that these annoying side effects will eventually subside with continued therapy w/Vyvanse. Give it 2-3 weeks becaue his tolerance needs to build up first.

Ok, I have vyvanse 70 mg tablets. Currently I have been on them for 3 days alotogether. I take the pill when i want to, I've takin 3 pills in one week. My first quesiton (1. Is it safe to take vyvanse when needed? If not what are the harms of it and is it very severe or no?. (2. MY BIG CONCERN. Its a love hate situation for me so far, i love what it does, the concentrating, the happy mood, love it! But I'm having awful side effects. The first day i had none.

My daughter was on Adderall for several years, she developed acne that was severe as well, when I took her to her dermatoligist he was aware that many of his patients had been experiencing the same problem, so he took my daughter off the adderall and put her on a new medication called Vyvanse, since then she has been acne free, good luck and I hope this helps, by the way my daughter is 17.
s now 2019 March 15th, I was wondering why I was going through five or six different side effects when switching my stimulants completely over to Vyvanse and I already was well invested into a Methadone Maintenance program. But I was on adderal 30mg 2 x daily, started methadone and then adderall 20mg 1 x day and 40mg vyvanse 1x a day when this all started slowly but I knew something wasnt right.
Is this documented that Accutane does cause premature epiphyseal closure? If so why is this drug being prescribed and why isn't this on the long list of side effects. My son was on this and he has not grown since, or while taking it. He was just past his 14th birthday when he took it. His acne was severe and it is also now back. It did clear up for a short time. He is only 5, 5.
I started typing in about accutane and growth and have come up with a long list of concerncs about growth.

Since being on Vyvanse my lithium side effects have subsided, all i notice is occasional tremors.

I agree with Sandman2 that you are taking too much. The first medication the doctor tried on me was vyvanse. I started on 30 mg which didn't last long enough. I was in college when I was taking it and took it at 9am and it was gone by 3-4pm. She increased my dose to 50 mg which was too much for me.
He said that the other two meds were to bring me down from the Vyvanse while also having the side effects of suppressing my hunger and one of them is supposed to make sugar (esp. sugary drinks) taste funky. The problem is that my doc prescribed me 60 30mg capsules so im trying to figure out how many 30 mg capsules is 70 mg vyvanse which i know that a 30mg vyvanse is 10mg adderall and 70 mg vyvanse is 30mg adderall.Is 7 30mg vyvanse capsules 70mg dose .I switched from taking 30mg adderall twice a day im going to have to call doc tommorroww.Any help in figuring this out .Thank you Im trying to get 70 mg vyvanse out of these 30mg capsules 1 70 mg or 1 60 is the right dose for me.
Actually, Vyvanse and Adderol ARE prescribed together for many patients like me —because they have opposite strengths and weaknesses. Doctors prescribe Adderol specifically to address a weakness of Vyvanse.
Vyvanse maintains a long, steady, consistent blood level all day — advantages over Adderal. But Vyvanse takes three hours to kick in, while it is metabolized in the liver so it has that nice long steady life. On the other hand, Adderol kicks in immediately, and has a short effective life.
I am surprised that he gave you vyvanse. My dr. gave me Wellbutrin and it produced none of the side effects you mention except decreased cravings for caffeine and sweets. Our pharmacist said vyvanse is a lot like adderall; he said everyone seems to be using it who would have previously been on adderall. It is very trendy right now. But I do not think it would help with anxiety at all, and I would guess anxiety might be causing your heart rate to be rapid.
