Had 2 dosages of antibiotics early this month. Genital started itching so I assumed it's yeast infection.
2 weeks ago, I saw some "flakes" on my vulva and realised that there's 2 distinct patches on my outer vulva. The skin of the patches looks wrinkled and lighter than the other area. There's no additional growth but I sort of had a cut on my vulva late last mth while I was washing up.
I ignored it, until I noticed that I also had a dull ache in my vagina that lasted for a few days, similar to the feeling the day after having sex. I then noticed that in between where my labia minora and labia majora meet, there was a redness, and it was almost raw-looking. It was the same length and on both sides of my vulva. It almost looked as if someone had taken their nails and scratched me on either side. I never had any blisters, and these (sores? scratches?
I have notice a few raised veins on the inside of my labia minora. No other symptoms recently, but during my daily self exam a few weeks back, I began to see a dark line on one side of the inner surface of my vulva just above the vagina. It is not tender, and does not burn or itch, but since yesterday, it has become a raised purple vein.
I've been exercising a lot recently and I noticed a small bump on my labia majora more on the outer part. It took about a week to heal but now I have another bump still on the labia majora but its under the skin near the labia minora. I'm a virgin, but the only sexual thing I've done with someone is just manual stimulation and that was 6 months ago. Could these bumps be due to the excessive sweating and the friction of exercising? It sounds pretty normal. For one thing, labia don't look alike. Also, I think they often have an overhang like you're describing. Have you read anything by Betty Dodson about labia? Her "original vulva sketches" web page is illustrated with 14 sketches of normal labia, and they all look really different.
ve had random, intermittent stinging feelings that are very mild but come and go around my vulva, mainly in the labia and near ,but not on , the opening of the vagina. I've also had these random chill sensations in my buttocks but they only lasted a day. I have not noticed any sores, blisters, lesions, etc and I'm not burning, itching, or in any sort of pain.
I had a punch biopsy on my vulva due to itchiness, burning and white coloring. The result came back at Follicular Keratosis. Anyone has any insight on this condition? Was only told it was benign. But, would that cause burning, itching, tearing skin of the labia and white skin? Thanks.
ok! so my questions is, if guys like or hate the long inner labia minora? do they get turned off if the 2 labia minoras are not even?
ve tried sudocrem to heal it but all that seems to happen is it gets clogged in my hairs and in the creases of my legs/vulva. My vulva lips have started to look very wrinkly and almost shrunken. I know it's probably the silliest thing in the world but I'm super embarrassed about going to the doctor about it. I'm just so so depressed and sore to the point where it hurts to walk.
This started when I was 17. I remember riding the bus home one day when I was overcome with this intense itch on my left side labia. I rushed home to scratch and then it immediately become swollen. It took about 2 weeks to heal, but ever since then my vulva, particularly the left labia, has not been right. I get a tingling sensation down there all the time. Hi I've had red itchy bumps on labia majora for a couple months now. I developed an itchy rash in the crease between thigh and vulva and used anti fungal cream. That part has seemed to clear up for the most part but the red itchy bumps on my labia majora are still there. They do not hurt, and they have not blistered they just itch on and off.
Hi I am a 23 year old female and I have been experiencing a constant itch for the last six weeks mostly on my labia and clitoris. Even if I scratch it, it does not relieve the discomfort whatsoever. The itching never goes away even when I apply creams. I have tried Aloe Vera, multiple types of thrush creams, Sorbolene, Paw Paw cream, DermAid - nothing works. I have also tried baths with Epsom salts and Apple vinegar - no change.
So, I just googled to find information on other women with vaginas like mine, or I should say vulvas, because I have no inner labia and you cannot find vaginas like this anywhere! had a biopsy, which came back negative. The mid line between my labia minora and labia majora have been splitting and whenever it joins and heals, the skin gets thicker and white in color. Had a vulva colposcopy with vinegar and the skin was very white. The doctor decided to do biopsy of the whitish skin and the normal color skin. I just got a phone call today that the result of my biopsy was Follicular Keratosis, a benign skin condition.
Does sexual penetration of the vagina require the penis to go into the vaginal opening (or that hole where fingers can reach in)? If a guy just rub his erect penis on your labia or clitoris is it considered penetration?
I hear and read that more and more women worldwide are consulting plastic surgeons for labia minora reduction operations because they think that they have abnormally large labia.
Of course the plastic surgeons are happy to comply because they make more and more money from what is basically unnecessary proccedures.
I consider most labia operations to be modern female genital mutilation.
I have been experienced a mild come and go itch in my vulva for a couple weeks, A few days ago i got a bump in my labia majora it had hairs in it. When I squeezed it and pocked it with a needle clear fluid and blood came out. The bump was gone but withing a few hours the top layer of skin came off and left a open reddish peeling sore. I am wondering if anyone knows what this could be. If its herpes why would all my test come back negative?
