You can take Zantac 75 it is amazing, it last for 12 hours. My acid reflux was so bad it was waking me up during the middle of the night choking and vomiting.
I eat ice cream or use 1 teaspoon of baking soda in a cup of warm water (drink fast to avoid vomiting) since tums and milk both maje me vomit.
It started with heart palpitations and vomiting, then i had abdominal or gas pain. stomach feels uncomfortable after eating.i went to a physician and he prescribed me zantac. i also had my blood checked for a deficiency in anything. results were norma except that i had a UTI infection. now i'm on zantac and an antibiotic. unfortunately i'm struggling with extreme fatigue upon standing, rapid heart rate some coughing and sometimes dizziness. This has been going on for three weeks.
What do you ladies take for acid reflux? I'm 31 weeks and a few days and the past three weeks I've been waking up from a dead sleep vomiting from acid reflux. It gets up into my nose. The lining of my throat is burning. I have a cold right now too and asthma so vomiting and coughing is literally killing my throat. I just woke up from sleeping and threw up so badly I peed my pants. I'm so over this. I cant have Zantac because I'm super allergic.
I've had to start taking Zantac. Baby is pushing up on stomach, progesterone is relaxing muscles, and having awful acid reflux. I was nauseous & vomiting again until I started the Zantac. If you feel acid in your throat too talk to doc about reflux. For the back pain I soak in the tub.
Gaviscon & Zantac are on my safe list but check with your OB office. I took gaviscon occasionally during 2nd trimester and watched what I ate--tomatoes, citrus, fried foods were all triggers for me. I've had to take Zantac since week 30 though because otherwise acid kicks up every time I lie down and I was vomiting again!
ve also been having terrible heartburn, nausea and vomiting for about the past month. My liver enzymes are elevated, an ultrasound came back negative for gall stones. My HIDA scan showed an EF of 96%. Is there anything i can do to stop the pain and nausea. It happens every time i eat and it doesn't matter what i eat either i've changed my diet to low fat small meals but the pain is still there.

ve been getting much worse this past week. Had a lot of nausea going on and got prescribed Zantac (ranitidine). Took my first dose the night before last, was feeling a little better yesterday afternoon, then in the evening I ate a baked sweet potato and felt bloated, crampy, and tight all over my back and abdomen. I was also feeling lightheaded and weak while I was having these feelings.
If nothing works mention it to your dr. I had unbelievable "heartburn" tried everything it was so bad I was vomiting from it... turned out to be acid dr prescribed tablets and they were a mericle.
the medications I take lamotrigine, prazosin, naltrexone, Seroquel, zantac, pantroprazole, im taking zolfran for the nausea I vomited for the first time this morning everything upsets my tummy. some less some more. any help?
You may want to try Zantac. Get it from your Dr. it may be a reflux problem and not formula.

Getting sick multiple times a day and always queasy. If its not coming out one end, then it comes out the other. Im already doing Zantac 150 twice a day, 1/2 Unisom and B6, preggies pops, Sea bands, and Zofran when I cant stand it any longer. Its even worse when you work 12 hour shifts at the hospital doing this. Ginger and crackers dont help any more and I hate to add more pills. Any other suggestions?

Even sleeping I get heartburn and I sleep proprietary up. I feel like vomiting it is so bad. I also have been getting pressure in my pelvic area. I also get like lower back spasms but if I change positions it goes away.
Zantac is the only thing that works for me. Dinner time is when I get it the worst. So I take it while my husband cooks.

Keep a food diary and try to determine if there is a correlation between something that she has eaten and vomiting. It can take up to 12 hours or more for her to show symptoms. So something that she has eaten the day before could also be the culprit. If it does turn out to be the milk, she may have lactose intolerance or a dairy allergy.
