vomiting toddler no fever

My 20 month old grandson has had vomiting for almost a week. He has had a history of reflux, but this past week he has had some projectile vomiting, no fever, and just can't keep anything down. What should we do? No fever, his pedi thinks it's a virus and lasts 7 to 10 days.

Not wanting to eat is not as much of a concern as not drinking is - a child can dehydrate very quickly and dehydration can be very serious, especially in a child. Dehydration will also happen a lot faster if the child is also vomiting and/or has diarrhea or a fever. Please do not hesitate - take your child to the ER. ll throw up every hour starting at 5 in the morning going until about 9 in the morning, and with diarrhea all through out the day. Sometimes its green and watery, others normal colored diarrhea. He has no fever and is normal up until he gets sick. The doctors keep saying that he has a stomach bug such as the "day flu" that is going around, however, no one at his day care is sick and no one in our household is. I have a terrible immune system so for me to not be sick is just amazing.

He has a bottle of milk in the morning with no vomiting. He vomits undigested food at night, not just his dinner, but sometimes his breakfast.

i went to dr and no parasite. he too, has no fever or vomiting. he did become wuite gassy due to the constant BM's. His stool has these dark colored things in it similar to a blue berry but he is not eating anything like that. this concerns me. and the mucous is very much.

My nearly 2-year old son (with a history of eczema) has had odd bumps on his body for a couple of days. They're prominantly on his arms, legs and diaper region. Surrounding the raised pimply bumps that scab are tiny goosebumps. Again, this is all only occurring on his arms, legs and diaper region. I've used Aveeno bath wash, lotion and a light amount of % hydrocortisone, plus bought more fragrance free/dye free laundry detergent. I use Aquaphor, and have dressed him in loose clothing.

Okay I know this is the wrong forum to post this on, but my little girl (eighteen months today) has puked about eight times in less than twelve hours. i checked the toddler forum and the pediatric forum and they rarely get any replies, so I'm begging for help from mommies on here! I took her to her pediatrician and he told me what to watch for (danger wise). I'm looking for comfort techniques and advice on how she should sleep tonight.

I am 36weeks preg with baby #2 i woke up at 6am throwing up its now 9 am i cant keep anything down not even sprite .. my toddler seems to be okay .. but i am having stomach cramps like crazy and feelibg very dizzy this isnt pregnancy sickness... just wondering how long i should wait till i call doc?

gave some more small amounts of fluids but still vomited again. No sign of fever and no diarrhea. Playful and happy but still vomiting...and is sound asleep now. I can tell he is hungry but he is gagging anytime we give fluids or solids....we are frustrated and not sure what to do. We just find it strange that he basically has no other symptom and are concerned about his minimal food and liquids. We also find it strange that there is basically no other symptom but vomiting.

I have a 20-month old toddler who has been having seizures since the first time he's had a high fever (he was around 13month old). Since then, every somewhat elevated temperature will result in a seizure. We have been to the emergency a few times and were always told that he is in fact experiencing febrile seizures which are of no concern. The seizures never last longer than a few minutes, at most.

I opened it up and noticed there were mice droppings so i just wiped it down with baby wipes and put my toddler in and went on with our day. When we left the mall, i noticed there was still a few more droppings in there. I’m terrified we could have caught hantavirus. I googled symptoms & i have naseousness & awful body aches & the ER told me there’s no testing & to come back if symptoms get worse. I live in Chicago il and i know it rare to catch that but there’s still a chance.

I am 6+1 and I haven't had the morning sickness kick in full force yet. I'm having to choke down food but no vomiting. I also have a toddler. Dreading when the vomiting starts! Maybe this babe will be a boy and I won't have any morning sickness because with DD I was barfing from 6 weeks well into mid-2nd tri. No advice, just empathy.

As long as it is not associated with nausea, vomiting, fever or cramping then a little spotting should not be a problem unless you have other medical problems.

Could be just what you say it is. A fever and nothing but a fever. Get some rest and see if it does away. If it doesn't go away in one or two days I would suggest seeing your doctor. My guess is that it could be a pretty bad cold that you just need a little attention for or maybe it could be the start of Mono. My mono started out as a fever for a few weeks to a month (I know! Its tough when they are that little. Pedialyte will be of no help unless they have vomiting and diarrhea. As for meds, unless they have an ear infection or something bacterial meds won't be of any help. There are a lot of viruses going around now, including influenza... you should take them to be checked out by the pediatrician just to be safe.

She has no fever, took her allergy meds this morning. So i dont see what the problem could be other then pure exhaustion from her daddy date today. When i tried to wake her for dinner she insisted on going back to bed, without huggs or kisses. this summer, but diahrea is a major part of that, vomiting and cramping as well, but if they have no diahrea I don't think it could be that, also the smell of the poop is, well, it is unforgetable. Never staying the same even though she just lied on the bed for 4 hours (which right there is not normal for her) She also presented at the ER with no fever but within two hours had a fever. Chest xray was clear, ears were clear no signs of infection to explain fever, and ashtma well controlled. The dr sent us home and is setting up a cardiologist appt and she woke up the next morning seeming fatigued but otherwise ok.

Dear Sir my son age 16 got high fever on22 oct 2010 we have consulted the doctor he has given paracetamol table & amoxcilin capsule & B complex tablet & advise some blood test , like tlc dlc , widal, platelet count hb, etc. platelet is presently 130000 & fever was not going down. 2nd day then nimoslide tablate given now fever is under control,but he is having loose motion followed some time vomiting if he is taking any food or juice then state he is going for motion .

Have you checked to see if your toddler is teething or anything like that? We have no way of knowing what is wrong with your child.

Could be appendix. usually has fever, vomiting or nausea and bad ache in that area.

What causes vomiting light green bile, stomach and back pain, having no fever? ER doctors don't seem to know. CT scans and x-rays are unremarkable.
