Avatar f tn I'm having servere shoulder blade pain in my left shoulder. I'm 16 and varsity qb for the highschool here so I get banged up a bit and am in good physical shape. Anyways, one day in the gym I was doing squats with the bar on my back below my neck like your supposed to and while driving up to rack the bar my shoulder popped from the weight and it was terrible pain. It hurts to breathe deep or move my right arm (throwing arm) across my body. And same for my left arm.

If they need to remove teeth, an oral surgeon at a hospital may be the best option although there are general dentists and oral surgeons who are comfortable with treating patients such as yourself in their offices. Contacting your local dental society may help get you a proper referral.
Avatar m tn I played football and baseball growing up as a quarterback and pitcher/infielder. I constantly felt elbow pains, but I just ignored them and thought of them as regular soreness. All I did was ice them occasionally. The real pain started in my first year of high school playing football. Just warming up with my fellow QB's caused intense pain to the point where my elbow was numb halfway through every practice (4 times a week). I did the same as I always did.
Avatar m tn bhups1 is right about the asprin. Chances are that's not it unless you overdosed. Don't waste your time visiting monday morning quarterback ENTs. Go directly to an otologist if you can. They are above an ENT and less discouraging. Whatever you do, don't mess around with the tinnitus. The longer you have it the harder it is to get rid of it. Avatar m tn My question is, what is a realistic expectation for my sons sports future after this surgery. He is the quarterback for his high school football team, plays baseball and bowls. we have raised this questions with our opthamologist and his answer is "it is up to you". We know there is a very real possibility that he will never play football again, but I would love to have some real direction with this decision. Thanks for your help.
Avatar m tn s a Pitcher, starting Point Guard and a starting Quarterback for all his teams but I think if I cant fine a solution to his weight problem he going to have to give them up and that would be a tremendous blow to him. All of his friends no him as the consummate athlete who love to play all of his sport with passion and for the love of the game. Right now he weight 75 lb.
Avatar f tn You have my condolances. It is very easy to "monday morning quarterback" and think about what "should have done". That being said a first-time presentation of unequal pupils would normally cause them ordering or either an MRI/MRA or a CT with contrast. That does not necessarily mean that anything could have been done to prevent her death. The unequal pupil presentation in a patient suggests that there is neurological damage.

Avatar f tn t mean to monday morning quarterback, but grandpa needed an MD to evaluate his condition. There is no possible way to determine on th internet if the problem was due to a stroke of a blood sugar issue. He needs a thorough evaluation, to include a neurological work-up as of yeaterday. Avatar f tn My first trimester I stayed sick. Vomiting and migraines. Try eating some crackers before you ever get out of bed. I've heard that works pretty good. Other then that talk to your doctor there is nausea med that doesn't make you drowsy. You can also ask your pharmacist as well. There are also these things call sea bands. They do look like sweat bands for your wrist but they actually put pressure on some pressure points in your wrist that help with nausea. Good luck to you.
