My 5 yr. old came home Tuesday complaining of a headache and was vomiting. She said she had hit her head at school, but the CT showed nothing abnormal. She slept from 4 pm til 7am then next morning waking only for mins at a time. Wed she stayed home and slept most of the day not really eating. She went to sleep last night at 6 and slept til 7:30 then woke to eat alittle then back out at 8. She slept all night until 7 this morning. She is still complaining of a headache.

If the CT Scan has come out normal, then it can be due to primary headache like tension headache or migraine. Try OTC medicines like aspirin or acetaminophen. For headache pain that cannot be controlled with pain relievers, antidepressants, beta-blockers, or anticonvulsants may be prescribed. Use a cold compress to the area of pain, rest in a room with little or no sensory stimulation (light, sound, and odors) and withdraw from stressful surroundings.
From the past 2 years I had been suffering from headache which crops up suddenly but does not remain for long. The pain accelerates when I am studying but slowly decreases when i am not. I don't have any problem in watching TV or using computers. With the headache I often feel like vomiting (but not always). My eyelids often becomes swollen and starts paining after I wake up. I cannot find a solution to my problem and I had been running after doctors who come up with almost no solutions.
My son, 11 years old, starts having frequent headaches since January 2008 after sick for one week in which he had fever, headache, sleepiness, and flu-like symptoms. The headache is worse with physical activities such as running, wrestling and play basketball. The pain is mild to moderate and located on the back of his head. The pain lasts from 30 minute to 2 hrs. He has no change vision, nausea and vomiting.
He had his MRI and MRA two weeks ago.
myself a medical student was approached by my friend complaining of headache and vomiting.His mri is normal..opthalmologic studies were normal.. still he has severe headache and vomiting.. wat can be this suggesting.

He played football this year and got what we thought was the flue and never recovered 100%. This most recent severe bout of vomiting and headache was precipitated by a postive strep infection. I have taken him to 2 ER's on of which being Boston's Childrens hospital(one of the best in the country) they have referred me to Gi doc and Neurologist but that doesn't make him feel well.....
this is a migraine headache. certain foods like chocolate and peanut butter can trigger these. i get these too, but in long durations. some people with migraines actually hallucinate while having one. and yes, they are sensitive to light, sound, movement, and stress. i cannot explain the bleeding, but the weird taste in your throat is most likely vomit. you may end up vomiting quite a bit.
my best advice:
Percocets or 5 to 6 Tylenol.
So ive had no vomiting this entire pregnancy, today im two days over my due date and out of nowhere this morning i felt like i was going to throw up ..which i did and ive had a headache for the past two days now. Wince yesterday i keep getting lower back pain and sharp pains that feel like they run from my vagina to my lower back. Has anyone else experienced throwing up before labor?

your episodes brought three possibilities instantly to mind--1)migraine-which easily explains the headache and vomiting, but would fit the vibrating sensation better if that was only occurring on one side of your body. 2)chiari malformation type I is a birth defect in the region of the cerebellum and foramen magnum (the hole that the brain nerve tracts converge through to form the spinal cord) which typically is silent until middle age. a brain scan is needed to diagnose it.
Then i had a normal bleeding at march 14-16 that stopped then i had brown discharges and light pink for 3 days with associated cramps then i had sex again on the 23rd of march.then yesterday i vomit twice and had a light headache.
Lots of water. You are also in the weeks where it is safe for you to take Motrin. If that doesn't help maybe rootbeer or dark chocolate I heard helps, or even just good old fashion Coke (that's what got rid of my last headache & I am just days behind you).
This past Saturday I had an incredibly terrible headache and started seeing things, it looked like spots or bugs crawling on the walls and ceiling. I've been super sick to my stomach and dizzy ever since, is this normal? I read somewhere that stuff like this can happen with preeclampsia but my bp has been around 90/50 so I don't think it's that. Any ideas?

Every couple of months my 7 year old sister gets a headache "attack" she becomes very pale and complains of a headache. She will spend most of the day on the couch until she finally throws up and then her headache is gone and she's running around laughing and playing like nothing happened. Her episodes are becoming more frequent she has had two this month and the last episode she threw up 6 times before she felt better. Does anyone know what this might be?
I had a headache which i never felt before. It started on 5th september and was there for a week till 12th september. There was no severe pain but felt like someone squuezing my head from both sides. A special kind of feel it was and also felt some kind of uncomfirt with my jaws also related to it. After its disappearance agin it started on 16th september. A was on an anxiety. Could it be the reason for the headache? Shoult i consult an ENT?
It's nearly 15 years that I'm suffering from a chronic daily headache which is cause my life a nightmare, and sometimes make me wish that i was never born. I have tried many doctors and treatments but none of the could have a diagnosis or a treatment.
And I also has made other problems like stomachache due to constantly using pain killers.
