myself a medical student was approached by my friend complaining of headache and vomiting.His mri is normal..opthalmologic studies were normal.. still he has severe headache and vomiting.. wat can be this suggesting.

s now been over a week and I still have mild pain symptoms (my jaw still hurts from the incident) such as a mild headache and feeling a little groggy. At this point, would I know if I had sustained some sort of epidural hematoma? From all that I've read, it seems like those who don't know they have an injury slip into a coma, or have severe symptoms within a few hours or a day or two. Can the progression ever be slower?
Hey i was wondering if anyone had the same symptoms as im getting , basically i went to the doctors because i started to get a back pain in the kidney areas also a bad headache with it , although my urine test came back negative , the urine showed smoky green colour aniwais they gave me antibiotics called ciprofloxacin, but lately all ive been getting is these symptoms : first i wake up and i feel dizzy like a mild dull headache at the back of my eyes and a stiff neck at the back of my neck and

please first of all contact your dentist to rule out dental and temporomandibular joint troubles, then if no disturbances in these areas, we can assume my first diagnosis of headache types..

I am 11weeks pregnant and experience eye pain and headache after vomiting too. I am also an eye doctor. Anytime you do something to increase the pressure inside your head, such as throwing up, you can increase the pressure in your eyes. This can cause pain, which should be temporary, but if you have hyperemesis like me you may feel the pain often. It's never a bad idea to see your eye doctor to make sure the pressure is not staying high. You're not alone...
It felt as if the joint pain was moving, started in right elbow with a deep sharp pain and next was in left knee then left ankle tendon. Both calves hurt as if by vigorous exercise and were tender to the touch. By the weekend of March 10th it was in right ankle and shin bone-then right knee. Joints and muscles remain weakened and mildly achy even after the sharp pain subsides.
Was a consult with an ENTspecialist done to rule out any sinus or TMJ disorder?Any other associated symptoms like associated joint pains, constipation or diarrhea,chest pain and joint stiffness in the morning?
Was an infection associated with the first onset of your symptoms 6 months ago?

So ive had no vomiting this entire pregnancy, today im two days over my due date and out of nowhere this morning i felt like i was going to throw up ..which i did and ive had a headache for the past two days now. Wince yesterday i keep getting lower back pain and sharp pains that feel like they run from my vagina to my lower back. Has anyone else experienced throwing up before labor?

Don't you have a stiff neck? But if it's worsen that that, then I guess you have to see an joint pain specialist. There might be some broken veins. Try to undergo test and check ups for that matter and ask what a doctor can advice on your with this pain trouble you're suffering. I hope you'll get better soon.
Our son had what seem like a normal virus with fever, vomiting and headache. All symptoms went away except the headache, which has persisted for a month to the point of excruciating pain 3-4 times a day. He had MRI, CT, lumbar puncture, blood work, etc. All came back normal except positive test for mycoplasma. The first hospital did his lumbar puncture incorrectly causing severe vomiting and spinal headache. That plus all the pain meds (toradol, morphine, atovan, etc.
I also experienced joint pain. I had no nausea/vomiting. 72+ hours later, I feel much better but am still experiencing diarrhea (although only 1-2xday) that still really has no form/shape and seems to be slightly tinged w/ pink as well as slight cramping and more gas than is 'normal' for me. Should I be concerned or is this a case of GI tract not having completely settled down from earlier issue?
Last Tuesday, I experienced a sudden headache that lasted about 6 hours, with the pain varying in intensity over that period of time. At around the 6th hour, my headache suddenly went away and my vision became very blurred/fuzzy. This lasted about 2 minutes, then it went away and my headached returned. I was shaken and very frightened.
I have not had any more headaches until last night, when I experienced a similar headache.
