Avatar n tn I have not had any more headaches until last night, when I experienced a similar headache. This time, I did not have any vision problems, but I did experience vomiting after about 5 hours. I only vomited once and then was able to fall asleep and slept through the night. Upon awakening this morning, I found that my headache was gone with only a slight lingering feeling of pain.
Avatar n tn This could be one of the chronic headache syndromes like migraine, cluster headache or tension headache. Aura associated with migraine is known to have nausea vomiting, visual disturbances like blurring, tunnel vision , slurring speech etc . Apart from others, exercise is a known trigger to migraine attacks and that’s exactly what could have happened in case of your son.

Avatar m tn Relating to overheating when exercising or in hot climates, headaches/migraines during/after cardio exercise – the migraines will have me vomiting 4-8 times, light sensitive, throbbing headache and temples, dizziness and sometimes blurred vision. Also if I get hot outside in the sun I can get a migraine even if I'm sitting still. After having bloods checked, MRI scans, back checks, neck checks, tried drinking lots of water, keeping sugar levels up, starting gently, various medication etc.
Avatar n tn Hi, Yes then it is most likely a tension headache. If your headache is not being relieved by NSAIDS, it is important that you consult your doctor for other medications. Apart from medications, regular exercise, warm shower, cold packs and a vacation may help you as well. Take care!

Avatar f tn Primary headaches are usually harmless and easily prevented using medication. Secondary headaches are often more serious. A secondary headache following exercise may be a sign of internal bleeding or a tumor in the brain. Primary headaches are throbbing headaches that occur on both sides of the head after strenuous exercise. Secondary headaches feel the same as primary headaches, but are often accompanied by vomiting, a loss of consciousness, double vision or neck stiffness.

Avatar f tn I am a 25 year old female. In the past 2 days I have experienced a headache that will not subside. I have taken Tylenol, which normally works for me. I have recently (past 30 days) changed my diet and began exercise to relieve my back pain. I have 2 herniated disks - I had a cortisone injection which has worked to relieve the pain and I have been feeling 110% better for the past 2 weeks - I have not used any pain medication.

Avatar n tn I had another doctor tell me that was ****. This is not a sinus headache. I have had several of those, this headache does not have congestion with it. I went to my eye doctor also and they said my eye was perfectly healthy. Up until now, I have not been a headache sufferer - I rarely get headaches at all. There is no stress, I am a teacher who was off for the summer. I have had a cat scan which revealed nothing. I have been told I do not have a brain tumor or meningitis.
Avatar n tn I have had a continuous dull headache for two weeks now and no amount of medication seems to shift it. It seems to be worse in the morning, and I have a really stiff neck. Its there all day and worse when I do exercise or bend over. Im also pretty sure my vision is getting worse, although I went to the opticians who seem to think my eye sight is virtually perfect. The pain is tight around my head, and occasionally its tight accross the nose. Please help im terrified!!!!
Avatar f tn This past Saturday I had an incredibly terrible headache and started seeing things, it looked like spots or bugs crawling on the walls and ceiling. I've been super sick to my stomach and dizzy ever since, is this normal? I read somewhere that stuff like this can happen with preeclampsia but my bp has been around 90/50 so I don't think it's that. Any ideas?
