Avatar n tn If this happened a little while after your period, it could be leftover menstrual blood. The leftover menstrual blood will mix in with the cervical fluids and it may seem a little scary. But it is completely normal. If you have had a Cervical Implantation, like an Intra-Uterine Device or an implantable form of contraceptives, that will also trigger small bleeding during the beginning of the implantation. Afterwards, it will stop your period completely for a little while until it is taken out.
Avatar f tn If you have been vomiting due to morning sickness you might have ruptured a vessel or started to develop a ulcer due to stress. But if it persists and geta worse through out the night OR you develop abdominal pain and you don't feel comfortable then go to the ER. Always better safe than sorry, especially when your pregnant (even tho I don't think vomiting blood has any direct relation to the baby) but regardless I'd make an app with your PCP if it persists.

If your symptoms worsen with bending down, it could be acid reflux. Also, have your blood pressures checked, hypotension can cause symptoms of chest pain. Regards.
Avatar f tn t want to take the time to go for the tests (I had the exact same symptoms (I can sympathize with your pain)). It took intolerable pain and severe flu-like symptoms (back pain, abdominal pain that traveled down my right leg, nausea, vomiting, severe headache, high fever) to finally get me to go to the hospital. They found the 100% blockage in my right ureter via CT Scan with contrast. Did you ever suggest this test to your doctor?
Avatar n tn Could be intestinal virus.
Avatar n tn I sympathize with your pain. I too have very severe pain right below my sternum that hurts up into the right side of my neck and jaw. Had gb removed 9/07 hasn't changed anything. The pains are recurrent, never know when it'll start. Not food related. No nausea, diarhea, or vomiting. Let me know if you find out what this is. Ok? Thanks and good luck.
Avatar n tn thought I had a bowel obstruction when he examined me and stated he would be very surprised if this xray was normal- xray showed dilated bowel but no air fluid levels, blood normal except WBC count 12.8, trace blood in urine. Went for CT abdomen- normal except lots of stool. Sent home with oral fleet, which i took and had watery bowel movements for 12 hours. Since then I have been taking Miralax, Colace, Senna and Lactulose, had a soft BM every day until today.
Avatar m tn For the last couple days I have been having aching type pain in my stomach along with the right mid/lower part of my abdomen (where my intestines seem to be). I went to my general doctor and he said it might be h plylori infection. He ran a test to check for that. Can stomach pain from h pylori also cause pain in the intestines (which is where the right sided mid/lower pain seems to be)? Also, about a year ago I had colon resection surgery for diverticulitis in my descending colon.
Avatar f tn Normal stools tend to be loose for years. Pain isnt worse or better after a BM. No blood in stools. No problems with urination. Had colonoscopy 3 years ago-normal. Avatar f tn I have been dealing with abdominal pain, diarrhea, constipation, some blood in my stools, and nausea and vomiting since July of 2016. Prior to that I had developed dizziness, numbness and weakness, facial flushing, tiredness, and rapid temperature changes since Oct 2015. I have had an extensive workup including CT, ultrasound, MRI of brain and of abdomen, and gastric emptying studies. All of which were normal. Recently I went to the ER with worse pain.
Avatar f tn For the past three weeks I have had severe right upper quadrant abdominal pain. The pain is under my right rib cage and is constant but gets worse at times and is sharp. I have also been vomiting and have had some diarrhea. I have not been able to keep down any food (including popsicles) or water. I have had to get IV fluids multiple times since this started. I have never had anything like this happen before. The pain also feels like it sometimes radiates to my shoulder and back.
