1624990 tn?1299290524 Everyday he laughs saying his right foot tickles and last night while he was sleeping he started coughing so bad he started to vomit everywhere. With all the viruses going around I assumed he had one. But he had no fever just vomiting. Today he's fine just complaining about his head bobbing (jerking tics) He's high functioning autistic, with a severe sensory disorder along with a recent dx of tourettes.

Avatar f tn My son has had episodes of recurrent, intermittent vomiting going back 5-6 months. He will vomit 1-3 times a day for 3-7 days in a row, and then be totally fine for weeks, until the cycle repeats. When he is ill, he is a little less energetic, a little less hungry, but still poops and pees well, still happy, no change in level of conciousness, and no pain. We consulted with a GI Dr, who drew some blood in early December.
Avatar n tn I am under the assumption that it is stomach bile. Neither blood nor odor are present. She is nursing five kittens that will be three weeks old tomorrow. Their last check up was a week ago and all were deemed healthy; including Chelsea (mom cat). She has never vomitted before.
Avatar f tn So I'll be 38 wks tomorrow. I luckily somehow made it up to this point in my pregnancy without morning sickness or anything. Today I woke up with a terrible stomach ache. I started to vomit around 3 pm and it was full of blood. I can taste blood in my mouth. The stomach ache hasn't subsided but hasn't gotten worse either. Is this ob related or more medical? Should I go to the hospital? Has anyone else experienced this?
Avatar f tn ve heard of girls having this happen and being fine, but it is always better to make sure with this. Coughing up blood can be a sign of a blood clot in the lung or something serious like that. Tell them everything. Stay calm and good luck!
Avatar f tn If you're vomiting up blood on any occasion, run not walk to your doctor or nearest health clinic. This may be an emergency! (or at least a sign of cancer) Vomiting blood on any occasion is a serious concern (especially with the variables you express). There should be free services available for your area to check out. Avatar n tn I would stop shoving your fingers down your throat. Hopefully the blood is just from that or as you said a popped blood vessel.
Avatar f tn headaches (really bad), nausea/vomiting, light headedness, ringing in the ears, sometimes I have trouble breathing but it's only sometimes. I have problems with balance. I have memory problems. I'm forgetful. I get numb tingly feet, hands arms & legs. & I think the last one is concentration problems.
Avatar f tn no need to discuss with doctor this is totally normal my son ate 4-6 ounces every 2 hours
Avatar f tn My son is 2 years old, and extremely developmentally delayed. Since the end of September he hasn't been able to keep formula down, he just throws it up. His mother and I started diluting the formula with Pedialyte and it was okay for a while, but as we increased the formula in the formula/Pedialyte ratio (because he needs the calories), he cannot tolerate it and vomits everything up until he's dry heaving. We kept starting over with all Pedialyte but then he started throwing that up too.
Avatar f tn We are now about 36 hours post-op and she has not stopped vomiting. She is getting IV Zofran every 6 hours alternating with IV Phenergan every 6 hours, so she gets one or the other every 3 hours. She is also getting Toradol routine every 6 hours and dilaudid every 3 hours. They have now started her on Diamox. Has anyone had a similar experience? Should I be worried that she is still vomiting or is this to be expected? I am an RN but pediatrics is not my area and had never heard of chiari.
Avatar f tn Vomiting blood is never good. Pregnant or not. I'd call your doctor or go to the ER if I were you.
Avatar f tn I just wanted to have an expert advice that one time blood while vomiting is a symptom of Cirhosis or any other severe disease. Or i am going through any serious illness or something else is happened to me. In morning as well as in evening a pale yellow stool with some redishness is been passed in liquid state. As i am very much worried and panaroid about this so would be looking out for the experts advice on my case that would could have resulted me to puke blood while vomitting.
