Any other tests I should push for? We have ultra-sound, CATscan, bilirum(sp) in blood....any other pancreatic cancer tests? Obviously, early is better, although the numbers would tell you it is grim either way.

with all of these tests wouldnt they have seen if something serious was causing my symptoms? I worry about pancreatic cancer , but if cancer was causing symptoms wouldnt one of these many test have seen it? Is the ct scan reliable for ruleing out pancreatic cancer I feel like I've exhaysted all my options and dont know what else to do.

Yes it doesn't sound like pancreatic cancer. I was thinking malabsorption syndrome. But since the fecal fat test was negative it may not be that. It does sound like that though. Have you had your amylase and lipase done too? These are pancreatic enzymes? It might be that one of your digestive enzymes is off instead.
Did they do diagnostic imaging then of your pancreas & pancreatic ducts and left kidney? Run any cancer marker blood tests?
Hi there, my father was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer at the head of the pancreas in June 2016. He passed away with pancreatic cancer in March 2017. At the time of diagnosis he had jaundice and bile duct obstruction. The bile duct had to be removed through surgery and that was the time when the pancreatic tumour was discovered. By January 2017, there was metastasis of the pancreatic cancer which had spread to the liver and lungs as nodules could be seen in the liver and lungs.
My mom has been diagnosed with metastatic pancreatic cancer around 2 months back. She was not willing to go for chemo sessions. Hence we opted for palliative care. She has been vomiting whatever she is eating for the past day. The doctor has suggested not to give her morphine as it would increase the bout. The medicine given to her to control her vomit isn't working. What should we do? Also what pain medication should we give her now that morphine is not an option. Please help.
It would be excellent if you would have a full physical to discuss this. Issues with stool, nausea and vomiting may be a symptom of pancreatic cancer but those are symptoms of numerous other things as well that are far more likely. https://www.mayoclinic.
Also had a spot come up on my ankle that looked like blood pooled under skin after umerious trips to the ER thinking I had blood clots they said maybe superficial blood clot. I read that that can go along with pancreatic cancer. had abdominal ultrasound a year ago that was fine. blood work has been fine. any ideas?
Doctor feels CT Scan is enough to rule out Pancreatic cancer as blood and urine is normal, That having pain something would have shown on CT Scan with pancreatic CA.

I´ve been expericieng some problems in the last month: my stools are different, vague low abdominal pain and vague back pains. I am very anxious. After read about Cancer Pancreatic I can´t put my mind at rest and started feeling minor itches.
My doctor asked a ultrasound and some blood tests. After the results he said it is fine for Pancreas. But I have other problems: 2 stones in my gallblader and minor hepatic steatosis.
m so worried about the pancreatic node and wonder if this could be the start of cancer. When the liver starts to back up with toxins does it cause enlarged spleen, pancreatic bile duct enlargement, duodenum widened? Which it eventually backs up to the esophagus causing vessels to burst.
I've been told I have enlarged spleen , all the stuff I listed above. They try to check each organ but never issue the liver and hep c which I think are creating the problem.
I now have fatty tissue on the pancreas from 5 years ago and has gotten larger at last ct scan.

Yes back pain can be a symptom of pancreatic cancer but almost 100% of the time it is a symptom of something else. Pancreatic cancer is extremely rare and the tests you've had would have shown it.
Read about pancreatic cancer and I am freaking out scared. My best friend dad died from this 2 years ago.I know you don't survive if you get it and its really hard to detect it untill its too late. I am 31 my last blood test was 1 year 7 months ago for a cbc and urine test and the other blood test basicaly a physical.that checks Cholesterol and Triglycerides my sugar levels I think. Smoking, alcohol use, gastritis, acidity, tumors of stomach and food pipe, bleeding gastric ulcer, cancer of stomach, erosion of lining of food pipe, bleeding veins at esophageal (food pipe) sphincters etc all cause vomiting of blood. This can be fresh red if coming from a place above the stomach. It can be brown or coffee colored if coming from the stomach. Tumors/cancers of the oral cavity or mouth, pyorrhea or pus in gums and Vitamin C deficiency can cause bleeding from mouth.
