Avatar f tn Im 8 weeks pregnant and can put up with the nausea, vomiting, constipation and sore breasts but, not this constant dizziness! It's constant, not all the time light and makes every activity extremely difficult. Im in nursing school and can't afford to be dizzy right now. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to make this annoying symptom go away and preferably without a med that will knock me out?
Avatar f tn If you're vomiting up blood on any occasion, run not walk to your doctor or nearest health clinic. This may be an emergency! (or at least a sign of cancer) Vomiting blood on any occasion is a serious concern (especially with the variables you express). There should be free services available for your area to check out. Avatar f tn So I'll be 38 wks tomorrow. I luckily somehow made it up to this point in my pregnancy without morning sickness or anything. Today I woke up with a terrible stomach ache. I started to vomit around 3 pm and it was full of blood. I can taste blood in my mouth. The stomach ache hasn't subsided but hasn't gotten worse either. Is this ob related or more medical? Should I go to the hospital? Has anyone else experienced this?
Avatar f tn ve heard of girls having this happen and being fine, but it is always better to make sure with this. Coughing up blood can be a sign of a blood clot in the lung or something serious like that. Tell them everything. Stay calm and good luck!

Avatar n tn I would stop shoving your fingers down your throat. Hopefully the blood is just from that or as you said a popped blood vessel.
Avatar m tn Since the liquid started he has been having severe pain on the inside of his rectum, which he describes as a severe burning sensation which comes and goes. Is this normal or could he have an infection? He is in a nursing home at this time and they have been trying different meds to help, but isn't getting much relief. Should we have him seen by a physician or is this a normal side affect?
Avatar f tn Vomiting blood is never good. Pregnant or not. I'd call your doctor or go to the ER if I were you.
Avatar f tn I just wanted to have an expert advice that one time blood while vomiting is a symptom of Cirhosis or any other severe disease. Or i am going through any serious illness or something else is happened to me. In morning as well as in evening a pale yellow stool with some redishness is been passed in liquid state. As i am very much worried and panaroid about this so would be looking out for the experts advice on my case that would could have resulted me to puke blood while vomitting.

Maybe that is the problem, i really don't know. I went to the doc awhile ago they never said anything just take blood work. Is there something i could do or see about this problem? Avatar n tn Within an hour after eating that, I got nausea again, and vomiting. Took Pepto Bismol, threw it back up. Started to feel very warm, friends said my face was flushed, checked temperature and was 100.1, not extremely high but a slight fever nonetheless. Went to the ER to get checked out. Gave me some fluids, nausea medication, and did some bloodwork. The bloodwork was all good, except a slightly elevated white blood cell of 11.8, which I know can indicate an infection somewhere.
Avatar f tn I agree that it sounds very much like deyhdration. When you call a nursing line for a childs vomiting or other sickness, one of the first things they ask you is about wet diapers in a 6 hour period. You did right to take her in. Another way to tell if it's dehydration is to feel the inside of their cheeks. If it is nice and wet and moist, that's good. If it's sort of dry and tacky, that is another sign of dehydration. If they checked her kidneys, etc.
Avatar f tn You need to get that checked out...not a good sign to be vomiting blood...alcoholics are prone to intestinal bleeds...go have it checked out....and I guess you already know drinking aggravates this condition..
