Hello, sorry to hear about your boyfriends stomach problems. I also have bile reflux, but not to the point of vomiting like this.
It sounds like he is over producing bile also...? If the doctor gave him any medication for the H. Pylori, is he still taking it? If not maybe another round of it would help. Also, they can prescribe Regalin or Metacopamide , for short periods. It helps the bile go down into the small intestine instead of coming back into the stomach.
He has suffered stomach problems for a few years now. He was vomiting bile before the surgery. Over the years he has been to several Drs and had many tests run. Endoscopy, MRI, gastro emptying study, hida scan and others... None of these tests showed anything abnormal except for the hida scan, it came back at 9% so they removed his gall bladder. He has had constant nausea, constipation and pain all over his stomach for a few years now.
About 3 months ago I started blacking out or falling unconscious or whatever you want to call it, along with bad migraines, abdominal pain, jaundice, extreme fatigue, and excessive amounts of vomiting. I'm not sure if the passing out and migraines are related to my stomach issues, but I was puking so much that I was hospitalized with dehydration and malnutrition, and my teeth turned yellow and the enamel has worn away.
Its usually in the morning right after waking up but occasionally last all day. It is very painful because the vomit is usually dry and I have to cough it out unless it is bile. My stomach will feel like it is on fire occasionally also. Sometimes there is bright red steaks but I am not sure if it is blood or not. It has gotten increasingly worse and I can't take off work from it anymore. Latly I feel as if I have been urinating very frequently and sometimes become very dizzy.
I have been in and out of the ER for the last few weeks, briefly hospitalized with sepsis and lactic acidosis. Severe middle abdominal pain, fever, vomiting, diarrhea, loss of appetite. Lost 30 lbs in two months. CT scan, xrays showed nothing, but ultrasound showed dilated bile duct. Had gallbladder removed in 2003. Could the dilated bile duct be causing these symptoms? Wouldn't a blockage of the bile duct show up in the CT scan if that were the cause?
she went to her doctor (not er) and they gave her a shot to stop her from vomiting (worked for a while, maybe 3 hours) and they ran blood tests and saw her WBC is at 17, max it 10. when she got home from the doctor she started vomiting dark green bile. 3 times now within a hours. You can break capillaries in your throat from excessive vomiting but if the doctor says there's no blood in your vomit then it's just your imagination maybe you ate or drank something red

I had my gallbladder removed 2 years ago, a few weeks after I had to have an ercp, bedause I had gallstones in my bile duct. Recently I began vomiting bile, having bile in my diarehea and pain in my lower right hip, around my bellybutton, and where my gallbladder was. I have not been able to eat for a month now, I can only drink meal replacement drinks, and I am still vomiting frequently and have bad diahrea. I am starting to become really week and dizzy from not eating.
