Avatar m tn Healing or recovering from a concussion takes time and may take weeks or even months. Headaches, dizziness, irritability and concentration problems may be observed. Symptoms such as changes in speech, seizure, vomiting, double vision or blurred vision, fever and headache that is getting worse, lasts a long time, or does not get better with over-the-counter pain relievers may warrant immediate follow-up with your doctor. Take care and do keep us posted.
Avatar n tn I noticed that when it got better and I started to walk around and do chores or write letters, it got worse again. I went off Depakote as soon as the vision problems occurred, and had to totally discontinue the Lamictal until the vision problems went away (resulting in a mixed bipolar episode). I went back on Lamictal, and soon returned to a stable state. A few days ago, I went on a run and pushed it hard.
Avatar f tn What have yall done that has helped ease the withdrawals of geodon and oxcarbmazipine? I've got headaches, sweats, shakes, vomiting, dry heaves, vision problems, thrush.....PD said withdrawals only last 6 hours.....seriously???
Avatar n tn No vomiting, although I have felt very anxious and slight nauseaus at times. I have no vision problems or numbness. I was on a flight two weeks ago? Would this be a risk factor? I have explained my symptoms to the two doctors who did not seem concerned, would I need to display any other symptoms before being sent for a scan? Also this may sound rash but can exessive worrying cause something in ur hed to rupture?
Avatar n tn None of the symptoms have really gone away and I have also been experiencing some ringing in my ears and the vision problems seem like they may be getting worse. The nausea has been making it hard for me to eat but I try to get 3 good meals in a day so that I may get better. I am 20 years old and have never had these problems before. If anyone has experienced something like this or know what it could be please let me know.
Avatar f tn I have had countless amounts of blood work, 3 CAT scans of my head/inner ear, MRI of brain, endoscopy and colonoscopy. I have had vision test and hearing test and I have also went to a chiropractor. The reason I posted under this forum is because the most annoying symptoms for me is my vision and dazed/lightheadedness feeling. It just feels like there is a lot of pressure in the front part of my brain. I thank you in advance for your response. I am a 28 year old male.
Avatar n tn For 5 months now i have been suffering with headaches on the top of my head, allways in the same area,i have no problems with vision..The headache started very badly one morning and i vomited 15 times in 3 hours,i had to rush to the doctors to get a pain killing injection..Since this episode i have moderate headaches everyday, if the pain increases the nausea starts.does anybody have any idea what could be causing this?i am now being sent to a nerologist.
Avatar f tn Hi, inner ear problems usually causes problems with hearing, tinnitus and dizziness. If there is persisting inflammation it may cause headaches also, though it is not a primary symptom of inner ear disorders. And inner ear problems will not cause problems with vision. However, it could be due to migraines, which are intense headaches sometimes accompanied by nausea, vomiting and altered visual sensations. Check with your doctor regarding this. Regards.
Avatar f tn Hi and sorry you have this problem. It could be a migraine or it could be seizure related. Migraines are always on one side of the head or one eye. It is typical with some migraines to have vomiting. Do you have the numbness on the face or various parts of the body? That may be something else. Some migraines can make your face numb. I get shaking with my migraine variant as well but it only is at night and not all the time.
Avatar n tn Once home I tried to sleep, but every time I lay down I felt extrememly nauseous. This culminated in my getting up and vomiting, which began a cycle of vomiting, recovering, laying down, feeling nauseous, vomiting again. After the 3rd or 4th time I was experiencing very painful wrenching heaves producing nothing. Each heave caused what felt like a blood pressure surge especially in my head. This cycle continued for an hour or two.
Avatar m tn migraines. She went to the doctor and they said her vertigo was off. My girlfriend has blurry vision when she gets them and the pain from her headaches go down to her neck and back. Everything ends up hurting her. Her doctor said there is something "suspicious" on the left side of the brain, behind her left eye. Is it a tumor? And what can be done for it? I'm worried...

284078 tn?1282616698 So, if you are taking Topamax or getting ready to increase you dose or considering starting it - please, please take my advice and remember that it can cause sudden worsening of your vision, and if an attack of narrow angle glaucoma starts, you can develop severe eye pain, extreme headache, nausea, vomiting and nearly complete loss of vision.
Avatar f tn with brain tumors you may have headaches, nausea or vomiting, problems in balancing or walking, speech, vision or hearing changes, muscle jerking or twitching and numbness and tingling in arms and legs. Consult your neurologist on the possible causes and a more detailed examination. Take care.
Avatar f tn In short, I was referred to an eye specialist because I was having horrible eye pain/pressure, double vision, and bright flashes of lights that looked like tiny flies were all over my vision. The 1st eye doc said there were no problems with my eyes and eluded that I was making the symptoms up! A year later another eye doc diagnosed strabismus. Obviously, I was pretty happy that at least one of my symptoms could be observed!
Avatar m tn If you develop nausea, vomiting, excess sleep, severe headache, difficulty in walking and balance, tremors, seizures, vision problems, ringing in ears etc then consult a doctor immediately. These symptoms develop if there is a brain injury or bleed. Otherwise this pressure will go in a few days. However, it is important to get a medical evaluation. So please consult your doctor once. Take care!
Avatar n tn Aura associated with migraine is known to have nausea vomiting, visual disturbances like blurring, tunnel vision , slurring speech etc . Apart from others, exercise is a known trigger to migraine attacks and that’s exactly what could have happened in case of your son. Avatar n tn I have serious vision issues, pain, fatigue and lately cement legs that I am not sure what the heck is going on. Complicated migraines or migraines in general can and do cause certain vision problems. I am not a doctor but I know today my vision is more then migraines. We won't even get into my cognitive issues with brain fog! ;-) Found this thread and now I can see both this one and MS. Oh gosh did I answer the question?
Avatar f tn I went to the ER on Friday because I was having vision problems. An MRI found that I had brain lesions. They kept me in the hospital for a few days to discover what was going on. On my third day of my hospital visit I was called with results for an STD check. They said that I tested positive for gonorrhea. I was treated in the hospital but I am so afraid that I caused this damage to my brain. Did I ruin my vision and damage my brain? Is there anyone I can call to get help?
