Not everyone gets morning sickness. I'm 7w1d and so far no vomiting. I too have had nausea though and have been told it's not uncommon to have the nausea without ever progressing to vomiting.
We're lucky ladies! Hopefully none of us develop morning sickness later on.

My mother experienced horrible morning sickness right away and so did my sister with all of her 4 kids. It feels like every pregnant woman I've talked to experienced vomiting at some point. I've always had a high tolerance to vomiting and only have in the past due to stomach viruses. I'm curious if I should be expecting vomiting sometime soon or since I've made it so far without vomiting is it something I no longer should worry about? My fingers are crossed that I struck lucky!
Before you resort to zofran try taking vitamin b6 in the morning and at night.

I had to be admitted at the hospital at least three types for terrible morning sickness. Zofran was prescribed to me. It's a very popular medicine for nausea and vomiting. Remember all med's have side effects but your doc would recognize that the benifit to you is greater than the risk.
Hello, I'm 7 weeks pregnant and I have had some kind of morning sickness no throwing up but I do feel dizzy at times. When is the earliest to get morning sickness? And is it normal that I haven't been that sick? Or am I lucky?
Every morning I wake up at the same time 9:00 am to take my pills and eat breakfast this morning I had a banana yogurt and some red grape fruit . And then went back to sleep we'll I just woke up and I started dry heaving has this happened to anyone else I'm now eating chicken noodle soup and drinking some water .

So I'm officially into my 6th week and the only issue im having is this ' morning ' sickness. Notice the quotations. I'm nauseous all throughout the day and vomiting. Nothing seems to help and I'm hesitant to call my dr , afraid that I'll get the ' duh ' response. What are some things that can help with this ? Or is consulting with my dr the best thing to do. Mind you , I'm not even scheduled for my 1st appt until 9-16-16.
I'm 8 weeks this week and the nausea is getting worse. I didn't even have one day of feeling sick with my first pregnancy. I'm struggling to get out of bed. I'm so exhausted that I'm struggling to do everything day things. Even walking up stairs I have to pull myself up with the railing and I can barely lift things. I feel dizzy. I'm so close to vomiting without actually vomiting. Eating makes me feel better for 10mins but then it's back with a vengeance.
I've been nauseous when cooking. Things don't sound good anymore. But never to the point of vomiting. Still have yet to! :) I hope it starts getting better for you! I've been eating a lot of fruit. It seems to go down the best!
I'm 8 weeks as well. Didn't really have much morning sickness or vomiting early on. But lately its been hell. Hopefully you're lucky enough to not experience too much nausea. Goodluck!
I'm no expert...in fact I'm only posting here because I posted earlier with a similar scenario. I'm 20, male, 6'1" and 195 lbs. From the age of 15 or 16 I've had the morning sickness you're describing here. I've been to two doctors about it and here's the advice I was given:
Doctor 1: "drink lots of water, cut soda out of your diet, get on a more rigid sleep schedule and try to make a habit of eating breakfast.
Exhaustion and nausea are common. My morning sickness lasted until 23 weeks- It was all day every day. Extreme nausea, vomiting 2-3x a day with dry heaves too. Sometimes I'd feel really yucky lime I had to vomit and others I'd be sitting perfectly fine and suddenly would have to run to the bathroom hoping to make it without puking everywhere. It wasn't a joy.
But to keep me from getting too sick I would always try and eat something every 3 to 4 hours bc once my tummy got empty during the day I felt like I was gonna puke. As for morning sickness I wouldwait til it died down and then eat sonething and force it down bc it was the only way to make me feel better. But you can tell your dr if its really bad and they can give you anti nausea medicine.
