The bg is not under control yet but twice the level has dipped to low 100's and both times instant headache and vomiting, and then as fast as the headached appeared it is gone. He did not have headaches before insulin treatment. Endo is determined it childhood migranines and just a coincidence. As his mom I know is not. Very frustrated.

Our son had what seem like a normal virus with fever, vomiting and headache. We really need to wait for the MRI reports.Hypertension with High BP and yellow colour of the vomiting may sound alarming.
I really would like to provide more inputs after you tell about the MRI results.
If it's an infection which is causing weakness due to vomiting, then we will not need to worry too much.However if some growth is noticed, then the management will change.
So tell your husband to eat light food (plain rice with salt and butter will help).
