voltaren gel patient assistance

Lately I have been putting Voltaren gel on my forehead. I'm doing this to soothe pain from inflammation caused by increased circulation from running a lot. Is this ok? I know it takes away pain, reduces inflammation, and increases blood circulation. Also I got the blood flowing through some decadent veins and arteries on my skull. It is really annoying but gets better everyday. What do you think?

ve never tried it, but I have tried Voltaren gel, a prescription, which I thought did make a difference. It is very expensive. I also get a compounding gel from a special pharmacy (not a chain). They combine a bunch of things like lidocaine, ketamine and I don't know what else. That actually works pretty well. Any chance you could try either of those?

I would love to hear feedback from anyone who has been taking Voltaren...I have been thru the mill with Suprytz knee injections, full series of epidural spinal injections, many trials of anti inflams, physial therapy etc. etc (all to no avail)... Two days ago my rheumatologist stared me on Voltaren and I am pain free for the first time in one year....I am afaid to get my hopes up as this seems too good to be true....

Hi folks! Have any of you used Diclofenac or Voltarin Gel for relief from general pain on thighs, etc.(and other large areas ... LOL? What was your experience? So I've had hip pain for about 7 months. I went to her after months of voltaren, metsal, Celebrex etc and she says it's bursitis and that I'll need steroid injections. If it is muscle how come it only got worse the next day when I stretched? And the voltaren didn't help. Also when I'm working or doing physical activity it kinda becomes numb but the pain comes later on. In the cold it's a focused sharp pain rather than all over. Is this signs of bursitis?

I am using Voltaren meds and gel, without much luck I am still under the care of hand specialist. I am now thinking of going to someone else, but don't really know who. I am in central Florida. Any suggestions?

Lidoderm Patches (they are generic now) and Voltaren Gel. The Lidoderm works by letting small amounts of the same numbing agent they give you when they work on your teeth. You can wear 12 hours on/12 hours off. The 12 hour off the Voltaren Gel would work also. Hope that helps!

I was just given Voltaren Gel(diclofenac sodium topical get 1%) for my neck pain(spinal cord nerve damage) and muscle spasms in my shoulders. I've been using it for the past few days and it has worked wonders for the pain in my shoulders. It comes in pill form too and it is geared for arthritis and pain. I was surprised how quickly it reduced my shoulder pain.

i would just like to know why voltaren 75 mg inj. cannot be given to patient with G6PD?why is it that even he has this body pains...he just settles to PANADOL 500mg tablet.,can you enlighten me a little bit why G6PD cannot be treated with voltaren?what is in voltaren that makes it contraindicated in G6PD?i would really appreciate so much if you could give me some information.

I also use Voltaren gel which help bring down the pain level at least one notch and that has been beneficial for me. I hope my feedback helps from my experiences but education into learning about my condition and researching to find a specialist was key for me and I advise the research for all that are interested in learning about their condition.

I have been taking nsaids for along time now. and nothing has helped. I have also used Voltaren gel, Lyrica, topamax nothing has helped the pain I am having in my wrist.

well, he didnt say anything at al he just gaveme the voltare, i took a glucose and insulin test and they all came back great. one other thing is that, ther was a time i went to the gym, and it as the firs time after a long time so i think i pulled a hampstring but i got better and then foot started. mt last two toes were the ones inflamed.

My joint pain generally responds to heat better than ice (though lately I've been having trouble with bursitis in both knees and ice seems to work best for that.) Ibuprofen will help some of the pain and will also help with inflammation. Voltaren gel is a prescription gel that is used on joints and will help take the edge off. Lidoderm patches, ice packs and heating packs may all help as well. Make an appointment with a rheumatologist to get started.
