Symptoms of hepatitis B would be jaundice, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain and fever. For chronic infections antiviral medications help fight the virus and slow its ability to damage your liver. Several medications are available. Your doctor can suggest which medications may be most appropriate for you. Regards.

Avatar m tn I also asked for my D and B to be checked. A lot of folks with liver disease are deficient in D and B helps with a lot of symptoms we are subject too. I took D3, a blend of B's, magnesium and a very good probiotic before, during and after treatment. I would encourage you to work with your doc for testing and find what is specific to your needs. Just a thought.

Avatar f tn I do not take any supplements (anymore) and I do not have a high vitamin B 12 diet. A few years ago I even had to be on vitamin B 12 injections because I was so deficient. Now it is extremely high it is not lowering. I also only have a 7% iron saturation. Normally when you have low iron you have low vitamin B 12, not high B12. What could cause both low iron and extremely high vitamin B12?

Avatar f tn viread from gilead, tenvir from cipla and tavin from emcure these drugs will not eradicate hbv but just stop any liver damage and progression to liver cancer or cirrhosis, to have some chances to eradicate hbv baraclude or entecavir must be comboed with nitazoxanide as shown n our posts or interferon, interferon can have heavy sides so nitazoxanide would be the best choice and also the drug tambui took might help if hbvdna doesn t get to zero by 6 months it is better to combo with tenofovir 2

730826 tn?1317943334 Since I do take vitamins regularly if I run out I do have some chewable vitamin b12 tablets to keep up my energy levels. I avoid not those 5 hour energy things, taking that much vitamin B has to put a load on your liver and kidneys. When my liver and kidneys are taxed to deal with all the extra vitamins my body doesn't need, they won't be helping as much as they could to metabolize my body fat.

Avatar n tn One of the problems with low B-12 is that sometimes, even if you eat the proper foods in substantial quantities it isn't always absorbed well. B-12 injections are one option, but sublingual B-12 with folic acid is helpful. You put the tablets under your tongue and allow them to decompose. The area under the tongue is very vascular and there is migration of the vitamin into the bloodstream.
Avatar m tn There are many research articles on vitamin D and hepatitis B. Just take 1000 IU of vitamin D every day with food. That's it. The time does not matter. Just take 1000 Every day. Some people in this forum take a lot more but I think that is dangerous. Just do it. Please. Just take it every day. You will feel so much better and your DNA levels will almost be 0. My DNA level is 10. There are many research to support this. Also, it is well known that vitamin E helps as well.
Avatar n tn I eat a vegan diet. I do use some fish oil for inflammation (adds calories also, but could increase bleeding). I eat oats, veggies and flaxseed. I only eat about 300 mg of sodium daily. I eat soft foods, and I try to chew well. I take kyolic garlic capsules and ginger capsules. I take one camu camu capsule daily for natural vitamin C. I don't use multivitamins and in my opinion, no one should use multivitamins - too dangerous. Iron is not the only risk.
