Avatar f tn In addition, if your sinusitis is due to viral infection, then your leg weakness can be due to post-viral fatigue syndrome and needs some time to resolve completely. In addition, vitamin/nutritional (especially B-complex) may lead to a neuropathy/weakness symptoms. I would suggest keeping your nutrition high to fasten up the recovery and if your symptoms persist please consult a neurologist to evaluate other possibilities of neurological disorder. Hope this helps.
689528 tn?1364135841 I haven't experienced morning sickness yet. (Fingers crossed I don't) At times I'll get like a hot spell and maybe feel a little nauseated but it never lasts longer than a minute. Anyway...was wondering if everyone takes extra vitamin B?! It's supposed to help and while TTC I started taking B50 complex and I am still continuing it. I think this may be why I don't feel sick.....LOL I'll keep ya updated though cuz I'll just be 5 weeks tomorrow!!
Avatar f tn s most likely Vitamin B12, she would probably need injections. Her Vitamin D and magnesium may need to be raised as well.
Avatar n tn Vegans need vitamin B12 and calcium supplements. Suggest you take a daily multi-vitamin and increase calcium consummation (soy milk, soy cheese, soy yogurt, leafy green vegetables) for stronger bones. It is important to eat the right combination of foods so you have the proper proteins and nutrients for your body too.

Avatar m tn Your larger than normal red blood cells bear out the vitamin B-12 deficiency... are you supplementing that? With what form of B-12? Vitamin B-12 deficiency can cause horrible fatigue, brain fog, inability to concentrate and if left untreated, it can cause permanent nerve damage (peripheral neuropathy) in the hands, feet, legs, and even other organs of the body. Folate deficiency can also cause fatigue and other symptoms.
Avatar f tn Yes, the problems you are experiencing indicate that you have vitamin deficiencies. Pain in joints and weak bones are often an indication of vitamin D deficiency, an important vitamin a deficiency of which often results in osteoporosis and osteomalacia, increasing the chances for people to suffer from skeletal pains. So I would suggest you consult a doctor immediately and get some vitamin D supplements. Since you are feeling fatigued, you may also have B12 deficiency.

Avatar n tn I am a 23 y.o female, and on paper, am very healthy. However, I have some 'abnormalities' that all doctors have just written off when I have mentioned them...but they are really starting to concern me. I get numbness in my feet, hands & arms very easily...all normal when pressure is applied, I know & understand this...however, mine just happens MUCH quicker than anyone else's. I also am very sensitive to pressure applied to my joints...
Avatar f tn Were you directing your question to me (Debbie)? If so, I take calcium, magnesium, vitamin C, B-100 complex, estradiol and progesterone. All of which help your bone density. I take a multivitamin with Vitamin K, manganese and boron which also help. I don't take any meds as all they do is slow down the osteoclast activity and allow old bone to remain longer than it should. It is better to try supplements and exercise that promote bone growth (osteoblast activity) first.
784442 tn?1293378767 I then noticed that it was affecting several joint pains(deep ache) changing joints daily then almost all joints........joints I didn't know I had(not really) All finger joints, wrist, elbow, shoulder blade, clavicle, neck, lower back, hips, knees, ankles, and toes. Also had hot flashes where I would actually sweat a little. I also started on sweating upon activity......never used to sweat.........The pain then moved to the area above or below the joint felt like extreme pressure.
Avatar f tn Because of the fatigue and low iron saturation, also please let us know what your ferritin and actual iron levels are, along with vitamin B12 and vitamin D levels. Vitamin B12 and iron deficiencies can cause severe fatigue and other symptoms; vitamin D deficiency can cause many of the symptoms you've listed. Hypothyroidism can also cause a lot of symptoms, so you might have come to the right place.
382273 tn?1206529485 How much B 12 should you take?? The pills that I have are 250mcg. I was told to take these to improve on my lack of energy.

Avatar n tn Have not had a discussion regarding MS. No face rash, thyroid is normal, as is vitamin D level. I take both B-12 and Vitamin D. Tested for lyme; tested positive on a iGG, but after Western Blot and specific band test, confirmed negative. Thank you for your response, it is very much appreciated. My nervousness revolved around something like myotonic dystrophy or ALS; but MS is just as scary. Strange to worry about this in what should be the prime years of health for me.
Avatar f tn He didnt want to prescribe anything until he ran some more tests - more for RA, Lupus, Lyme, Vitamin B deficiency, thyroid. My friends, those with anxiety and without, are trying to convince me that I am ok, that my brain is telling me that I am hurting when I may not be. I have no history of anxiety, but know I am anxious now. What I don't know is: Am I anxious b/c there is really something wrong with me or is my anxiety causing me to think there is?
