1381186 tn?1280202029 Does anyone have advice/a preference for the best type of b complex for anxiety? Ideas on how to keep the magnesium from making me nauseated would be appreciated as well. Thanks all.
Avatar n tn - Dry mouth - Hard heartbeat - Jolting awake with heart pounding - Limb tingling - Sense of being off balance - Poor concentration and memory - Fatigue After reading numerous things online, it seems like all of my symptoms could be caused by a vitamin B deficiency. I'm going to make an appointment with my doctor in the next couple days to get some blood tests done, but I'm wondering if any other anxiety sufferers have had their vitamin/mineral levels checked?
1486478 tn?1307462997 It wouldn't hurt for you to take good vitamins scrupulously when you are not eating regularly. Whether anxiety depletes vitamins or not (and it wouldn't be surprising if it does erode especially the Bs) the fact of eating irregularly is not good for your vitamin flow.
1244180 tn?1325899111 thank you for all the information!!!! i got a vitamin yesterday called stress plex and it has all the B vits in it... i feel a lot more relaxed ... maybe placebo effect tho.... i just hope i dont have it long term its so draining!
Avatar m tn A burning feeling on your tongue could mean that you're low on B vitamins. Being low on the B vitamins can also cause anxiety. I know anxiety can cause so many strange symptoms but I'm really thinking this could be your problem. If you can see your Dr to tested for vitamin levels that would be great. In the mean time eat foods that are high in these vitamins. You can google foods that will let you know which ones are high in this vitamin.

Avatar m tn If you need any details, let me know.
Avatar m tn I did not notice any signficant improvement after several weeks, and decided to add a vitamin B-6 supplement as I had read that B-6 helps with magnesium absorption. I felt completely cured the first day after starting the B-6. I had been waking up two hours early with severe anxiety every morning for months. The first morning after starting the B-6 I was able to sleep in, wake up feeling calm and relaxed and felt completely normal.
689528 tn?1364135841 I haven't experienced morning sickness yet. (Fingers crossed I don't) At times I'll get like a hot spell and maybe feel a little nauseated but it never lasts longer than a minute. Anyway...was wondering if everyone takes extra vitamin B?! It's supposed to help and while TTC I started taking B50 complex and I am still continuing it. I think this may be why I don't feel sick.....LOL I'll keep ya updated though cuz I'll just be 5 weeks tomorrow!!
Avatar f tn s most likely Vitamin B12, she would probably need injections. Her Vitamin D and magnesium may need to be raised as well.
Avatar f tn hi everyone could you please tell me if b complex vitamins help stress and anxiety allso vitamin c im trying the natural way instead of librium the doctor gave me i would be gratefull for any advice thank you all.
Avatar f tn From that I have severe back pain, sometimes burning sensation on backside, headache, feeling weakness, dipressed mood, not concentrating on work, anxiety. I have done blood test. My vit. D is 60ng/ml, vit. B12 680pg/ml. My CBC, HB, LFT, KFT, cholesterol is normal. Orthopedic Dr prescribed 4 tab. of vit D suggest to take one table after three weeks. I have also consulted to Neurologist. He has done plane MRI of head.
Avatar n tn I was wondering if anyone is taking vitamin D3 to help with their anxiety or depression? I have heard lots of good things about it. I know I personally do not get out into the sun enough. I did start on 1000iu per day, but my chiro says to do 5000iu. He thinks it will work wonders on my anxiety. He's never steered me wrong before. Love this forum.
Avatar n tn I take B-6 and B-12,still do and couldnt live without them!
Avatar n tn I have the sensation from time to time my self, very scary, like an earth quake is about to happen. Anxiety? Or a Neuro condition? Possible Vitamin B12 defiency, take some sublingual and see if it helps.
Avatar f tn I do take vitamin B complex along with other supplements. I find B does give me more energy. I would not stop my anti-depressant though, as I don't feel vitamin B is a substitute. I am not sure it would cure my depression by stopping anti-depressants and only taking vitamin B.
Avatar f tn Also what other vitamins should i take with 5-htp? They say make sure u take vitamin b with it but im also going to take calcium for my thyroid since i got it removed and magnesium for my heart. Any suggestions please let me know. Thank you.
Avatar n tn I have discovered that taking Vitamin B Complex capsules have helped reduce my stress and anxiety levels. Also, I still love taking Flinstone vitamins, on top of the vit B complex. I feel great when I don't miss out in taking one a day. I think I would rather deal with my symptoms than the side effects of meds too. I used to take Zoloft and Prozac and Klonopin. Seperate time periods, but I didn't like the unreal feeling they made me feel like and the stomach cramps from them.
Avatar n tn Hi, this could be neuropathy, vitamin B deficiency, anxiety, low calcium levels etc. How old are you? Please get calcium and vitamin B levels in blood checked up before approaching doctor.
Avatar m tn If not that should be the first thing u should so to rule out anything serious. If it is a vitamin b deficiency the dr will let u know.
