1191960 tn?1280074080 m on my third try of IUI, and I noticed that some of you are covered through your insurance. I was just wondering what insurance helps with the cost of treatments, as SAG does not. Thanks for any input!
Avatar f tn Just want to know what insurance carrier that covers IVF cost not just the diagnostic testings,The procedure it self ?
274858 tn?1267749912 I believe there is some sort of link with work and insurance if you are carrying a federal insurance plan. Almost positive the link is only from the insurance to your work, not work to your insurance, or maybe it was the work comp to your insurance. Don't know too much about it so I won't comment anymore than that. Off the top of my head, the only thing your boss could possibly do is request a fitness evaluation, which if you were found to be not fit for duty they can fire you.
645800 tn?1466860955 OK my Diabetes doctor switched me to using a pen for my insulin shots due to vision and fine motor control problems. So today I received the pens via NEXT DAY AIR. But the VA has still not shipped the needles for the pen. Shipments from the VA in Nashville only take a day to get to my home once they are shipped. They notified the USPS yesterday that they were going to ship the needles from Nashville. So just how messed up is the VA? 1. they could have actually shipped the needles yesterday. 2.
Avatar f tn If not you might have to go to fedex or usps to pick it up if they miss you.
Avatar f tn I have been diagnosed with myopic degeneration and receive the intraocular injection which is very effective. My insurance carrier will not cover the cost of the injection (medicine and surgery). If I had a diagnosis of macular degeneration it would be fully covered. I am looking for suggestions as to how to make my case with the insurance carrier that this is not a one time event but a chronic condition that if not treated would result in a loss of vision.
Avatar n tn My husband (40 y/o,healthy)and I (40 y/o, healthy) are looking to get our health insurance coverage from next present. Right now we are on cobra GHI( extension from my previous work place) but they are asking me to change to EMPIRE PPO or EPO since they will not have GHI. I did not have dental and vision coverage previously but even if I want it they are saying they cannot add it. They are also asking for a one year committment.
Avatar n tn I took extra with me, from the States to the UK, where I am looking to live, or possibly France, as I have EU citizenship. USPS attempt to ship meds returned to the States. I will investigate DHL with Endo statement, labs, documentation. In the interim, NHS informed me they do not prescribe those brand names. An option here called ERFA, while initially touted to be a great alternative, has now had a reformulation that has had endless adverse effects.
Avatar m tn Like my liver doc says Im unlucky. I do qualify for transplant but Im waiting to become a career employee at the USPS. Any advice would be awesome.
Avatar f tn Also, see if there is a birth center near you. I know our local BC has options for families with no insurance. The total out of pocket to deliver there and be seen throughout the pregnancy is about $4500 compared to 3x that amount about the hospital.

1282384 tn?1271431332 Now my left eye is acting up and I do not have any insurance since I got laid off over a year ago and have not been able to find work. I'm concerned about driving since my vision is so distorted in sunlight. I'm wondering how bad will my vision get and are there any options for me to get the surgery done without payment plans or something?
Avatar f tn Hello! So I got a new job and didn't sign up for the vision plan because I have plenty of contacts, so decided to sign up during enrollment in January, but I did sign up for Medica health insurance. Now I have a growth in the corner of my eye. Not on the eyeball but in the way corner next to the nose. It is red, doesn't hurt or itch, is just super annoying because it touches by eye sometimes and feels like some eye boogers and I constantly want to rub it away.
Avatar n tn Depends on person and job... I work for the usps. And already know when my belly gets to certain size I won't be able to do my job. As there is alot of bending and lifting. As long as u feel ok to work then u should be ok. It also depends on ur leave. Like how long u get? Is it paid? That helps determine when a woman decides to take it.
507504 tn?1291967104 the lightaheadness as gone away a little bit except when using bathroom when pushing i see more dots and more light and lightheades...what does this mean ? have no insurance and wont until middle of nov..
Avatar f tn Hmm, you didn't get my gift yet? I'm switching to USPS, can't trust fedex I guess. That's my story & I'm sticking to it. >>>>>>>>HAPPY BIRTHDAY !!!
Avatar f tn Hi Ladies, To start tomorrow I will be 18 weeks, and this Thursday hopefully they will be able to tell what I'm having, I'm so looking forward to this, but theres this black cloud of this past week that is hanging over me. On Tuesday at work I had a terrible accident, I was hit by a forklift (I work at usps warehouse), with that my ankle is broken in 2 spots, I have soft tissue damage, and I'm going to have to have surgery.
233488 tn?1310693103 Don't take your doctor's word that your insurance won't cover the multifocal lens. My insurance paid for it after I explained all the facts to them. The doctors office had only submitted it after I hounded them about it. When they did it went as a non-medically necessary facility charge. When I explained to insurance it was not that. When a cataract is removed a lens is necessary. This marked the cost from $2,000 down to $120. that insurance covered.
Avatar f tn I'm 24 years old and started having occasional increased eye pressures at around 12. My vision in left eye is 20/60 and in right eye is 20/240. In the last 2 years I've had 3 eye examinations which all came back with pressures increased in both eyes left ranges 22-24 but right eye is 29-34. My eye DR. did a visual field test and it seems I have a blind spot in my upper right field in the right eye.
Avatar f tn I have Chiari Malformation and I had decompression surgery where they removed the bottom of my skull and the top half of the C1 vertebrae. I also still have chronic migraines and I don’t have vision insurance to go have a full work up at the optometrist. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The “magnification” of the left eye is pretty bothersome. I also have very frequent blurry vision that I can’t clear up by blinking or rubbing my eyes.
Avatar f tn It is prescribed by our GP, covered by our insurance, and it arrives via USPS. The refills seem to be arriving closer together than I would have expected. I fess up, I was nosy and saw the correlation of disappearing pills consistently on the same day and time as his massage.I get a 90 minute massage at the same time he gets his 2 hour so we go in one car. I have met his massage therapist, nothing indicating she's anything but professional. It is a mystery. Thank you again.
Avatar f tn I work for the USPS....
Avatar f tn I began having seizures as an infant {1956}, they stopped & did not return until the 80's when I began working for the USPS. I have not had another since my disability retirement in 2003. My neurologist has yet to suggest that I stop the medication. I must say I agree with you that she should perhaps not stop taking the medication at all.
