insurance

Avatar f tn if you need recue drugs for low white counts...insurance usually covers that cost..
Avatar n tn I just finished tx. I have the same ins. they covered my tx. All I had to pay was 80$ a month. I hope they don't turn around and cancel me. I would think they would have denied tx.
Avatar m tn I had vision changes (significantly more blurry) during tx which required that I get new classes as my vision was so blurred I could not read at all. This lasted throughout my treatment. After finishing treatment I am now back to the way I was (visually anyway) and use my old glasses! You should definitely talk to your doctor about though.Good luck!
8367118 tn?1442605420 I'm sad, it seems like forever to get my insurance.. :( I just want to see my baby already.. to know baby is fine.. anyone from Texas or knows how long it takes for Medicaid? I never had this problem with my first.. I have an,interview on,May 6..
Avatar f tn So, my Dr.reffered me to another Dr. 3.5 hours away for transplant evalution and tx options. I left at 5 this morning and made it for my 8:30 app. I saw the Dr. and liked him and his recomentions alot but he wanted me evaluated for tp before starting tx again. So I said go ahead and set it up.(3 or 4 days in hospital for tests) The set up guy comes in a says he's sorry but they just realized that my insurance won't cover a transplant at this hospital.
1253246 tn?1332073310 I currently have Blue Cross and Blue Shield insurance and found out that if I were to treat now that my copays would be low. This is my husbands insurance and weve had it for 15 years through his job.Now they are telling him that they might be switching companies sometime next year. Now the questions.....If the new meds come out say in June do they bill for the entire tx?Or is it a month to month thing?
Avatar f tn thank you! appreciate it.
Avatar f tn t get the new glasses until just recently, as I felt my vision was still changing, and I was almost finished tx, so I was going to wait it out. I have my new glasses, and still can't see well. my left eye is totally blurred close up, and distance is not much better with the glasses. I will make another appt to see my optometrist, but not sure if My vision will recover post tx, if I should wait a bit. Seems to me, a previous treater mentioned something aboutvision problems.
Avatar n tn (feeling great by the way) I have been trying to switch my insurance, as the one who covered during TX has been, over the last few years increasing me at 30% per annum...to the point of perhaps forcing me to drop all together.almost 4 times other quotes I am seeing. New policys are affordable but with HEP C in my past, & even with no other illness, and being told treatment as a success and cured...
2069069 tn?1331564116 one time during tx i lost almost all my vision for about 1 hour...maybe 45min...i was tired on my way to the docs 3 hours away...i had a driver..my girlfriend...it would have scared me even more but years ago i read this vision lose had happened to others on this forum....i think it was caused by being tired...anxiety can also make things worse....i'm almost four months post tx and on 175 readers now..was up to 300 during tx and started at 150's....
Avatar f tn If it was me I would wait until 4-6 months after treatment ends. I am still on treatment but my vision keeps changing while on treatment. It is definitely more blurred and I do not see as well. It is difficult to read a book due to the lack of focus, both the eyesight and the brain, lol. I had my eyes checked just before Tx and they were still okay with my glasses (bifocals). However, now my glasses no longer are correct, but I am not getting new ones until I see how the vision is about 4-6 mo.
4226456 tn?1354119928 I do not know how severe your blurred vision is. The severity may be important. I did have blurred vision and worse vision after starting Tx and that has continued throughout 48 weeks of Tx and for the past 9 weeks post Tx. I believe many people have vision changes, especially worse and/ or blurred vision) while on treatment. I also had "showers" of floaters, like large black snowflakes falling. These turned out to be nothing serious.
428886 tn?1217682034 yes u can get on a trial study, ask ur DR..they can help.. mind help me alot and i do have excellent insurance..
Avatar n tn Regarding vision sx's during tx, blurry vision is common. "Cotton Wool Spots", are not and only affects a small percentile. Before starting tx, some doctors recommend an eye exam. Retinopathy is something that you don't want to have a problem with, so if something very strange starts happening to your vision. Talk to your doctor asap.
Avatar f tn Your hep doc will have an emergency cover, to asess the situation. I am post tx and have tx related vision probs, which I am getting treated for, (no bleed). I also have hypothyroid, since the end of tx. I'm trying to get info on that myself. In any case, don't wait, you need to have a Dr. make a decision about the tx. This is serious.
Avatar f tn I am having problems finding a doctor that will treat my Hep C. My insurance doesn't pay for much, like specialists. Regular md's maybe an internal medicine doctor. When I am really sick I go to the ER close to my house but it seems that I have a rather large bill that my insurance would not cover. I know they are supposed to treat me anyway but I hate the fact that I owe them so much money. I am trying to get in to see a good doctor but it's a catch 22.
Avatar f tn I am a self employed Plumber with no health insurance so have to pay cash. I dont mind but want the correct Dr. to treat me. Please HELP. Thank YOU in advance.
Avatar m tn Also, after working on the computer for some time and then look at the TV which is at a distance I am getting double vision at times. Has anyone experienced this during TX or post TX? Looks like an Ophthalmologist in order, maybe two. Thanks!
