Avatar f tn t do anything soon, I will most likely send copies of the MRI and reports to Wisconsin. If they feel that I would be eligible to go to their facility, I don't know how I would finance the trip. I live in Washington State so simply driving would probably be out of the question. I know there are several random questions, but any input would be appreciated!

Avatar n tn However, it was not until my 4th year of monovision that I began to have problems. (According to a paper by Bertram Kohler at the University of Wisconsin, double vision has been known to develop as late as 8-9 years after monovision. It can apparently take this long for a mild phoria to decompensate.) Like you, my double vision defintely got worse by the end of the day, when my eye muscles were tired.
Avatar f tn Check with your insurance my insurance covers me for 2 pumps. The medical supply company sent a request to my obgyn and they approved and then the company sent it to my doorstep! Couldn't be easier.
1079987 tn?1258040916 If you would like to come to The Wisconsin Chiari Center we would need to get your insurance information to obtain any prior authorizations you may need. He would like to get MRIs of your brain with additional views of the Chiari area and a MRI of the cervical spine with flexion and extension views. He would also like to obtain SSEP and BAER testing. If you can give me your insurance information, I will contact them and obtain benefits and authorization.

Avatar f tn Just curious to see if there is anyone else here that lives in norteastern Wisconsin. Hope everyone has a great week.
Avatar f tn You can get AIM even though you have insurance as long as your insurance does not cover pregnancy or your deductible is more than $500. They charge you based on an income scale and give you 12 months to pay it in monthly payments. I have to pay $792 with monthly payments of $66. Which is way better than 6500. Maybe your state has a program similar to it.
Avatar n tn Does anyone know a Doctor, around the Milwaukee area in Wis, that would help my daughter get off Methadone? She has been on for 2 years and they don't seem to be bringing her down. She is on a lot. Anyway, they are getting ready just to kick her off the program because she missed a day or two because of her car braking down. I am so tired of these legal drug pushers. I can't stand their almighty attitude.

Avatar n tn Then I started missing my vision, having blury vision, loss of balance, concentration issues, memory issues, ringing of the ears, and more. I had chiari noted an an MRI but the neurons said it wasn't causing the issues. I went to the Wisconsin chiari center and the did a lot of testing including checking the flow. They said I definitely have chiari but my flow is fine.
2073947 tn?1333731698 The good news is that Dr. Heffez's office has received my information/MRIs. The bad news is that he doesn't take my insurance (which I kind of figured). So, as of right now, I only seem to have one other option (Dr. Jamie Baisden) who I KNOW does accept my insurance. Anyone else have any ideas for a NS in the Milwaukee area?

Avatar f tn In Wisconsin they will make him pay for at least half of the birthing costs. They will try and say he has to pay child support too but all you have to say is you dont want the child support. The only way for him to get out of paying birthing costs is if you were to get married before the baby is born. Again this is just how it is in Wisconsin.
Avatar f tn I simply cannot recommend him enough. He was not covered by my insurance (GHC), but paying for him out-of-pocket was the best thing I have done for my health in years.
1530342 tn?1405016490 The campaign drew national headlines because of its implications for unions, but the stakes were equally high for a new generation of reform-minded conservatives. Walker and Rep. Paul Ryan, also of Wisconsin, represent the vanguard of this wave of Republicans, underscoring the extent to which the state has become a deep bench for emerging GOP leaders.
Avatar f tn I have been diagnosed with myopic degeneration and receive the intraocular injection which is very effective. My insurance carrier will not cover the cost of the injection (medicine and surgery). If I had a diagnosis of macular degeneration it would be fully covered. I am looking for suggestions as to how to make my case with the insurance carrier that this is not a one time event but a chronic condition that if not treated would result in a loss of vision.
233488 tn?1310693103 (With a difference greater than 2 diopters, there would probably be a gap in sharp vision.) Most people would not be aware of a loss of depth impression, and glare and halos should not be a problem. I don't think any of the currently available premium IOLs can offer this.
