insurance

Avatar f tn In KY it covers the basics at the dentist & also for vision. Checkups, cleanings, filings, tooth removal. And for vision you can get glasses if needed. Check your state, but if it's Medicaid it should.

Avatar f tn I have endometrosis and had surgery three weeks ago. I lost my job so I no longer have insurance until the first of Feb. I called my doctor this morning and wants me to come in but I can't because no insurance. I took two Lortab 7.5s at 8am and then just now at 10:30am started cramping so bad I couldn't take it so I had to take another two. I hate having to take pain medicine but its the only thing that helps but even then it only lasts 2.

Avatar m tn There is also a Chiari clinic in WI. However, neither will accept me because I carry Medicaid as a secondary insurance. I have not been able to locate a doc on the suggested Chiari doc list that is near our area. Please let me know if you find one!
Avatar f tn It seems the insurance changed my referral to USC but wrote UCLA on the paperwork. I really hate any insurance and trust me I've had plenty to say I can hate them. The government one is just the only one you can't pay out of network. :( I tried to make an appointment with a ns that specializes in cm as a cash paying patient but they said they can't take cash from a medi-cal recipient. Basically I'm better off without insurance.
4268628 tn?1375041176 re changing meds, but have to wait til after the holiday to get it...stupid insurance. I am really hating our insurance. At least we're figuring out before we end up in the ER though.....oh and on another note...in another group..I can't get over some people...the question was asked who has used KY and still got pregnant...as if it's a form of birth control. What are we teaching our kids in health class these days?
1298675 tn?1286550183 I never made it to the operating room. The cancer spread to my internal organs and is now Stage IV with liver mets being the biggest problem, not to mention it is in a lot of places. The doc says the liver is inoperable because the one large tumor is dead center. The now 6.5 cm tumor in my breast stays until the liver cancer is gone. Chemo appears to be my only alternative, so off to weekly chemo dosages twice, which caused my hands and fingers to tingle so it was stopped.
Avatar f tn Call the number on the back and ask to be sure. Some insurance companies in Ky consider it cosmetic, but Medicaid still covers it.

Avatar n tn 50 I would like to have good distance vision for driving but still be able to see the computer and reasonably see to put on make-up. I don't mind having to wear glasses for close work or reading. I wore mono-vision gas-perm contacts for over 20 years, but eyes have become too dry to wear comfortably now. Would this mini-monovision I've been reading about work for me? If so, what diopters are we talking about? Dr.

875426 tn?1325528416 I had an endocrinologist decide that he was referring me back to my GP with the recommendation that I see a "super specialist" at Vanderbilt or Duke. My insurance now covers Vanderbilt, but doesn't cover Duke. Anybody know a neuroendocrinologist at Vanderbilt that they can recommend?
624225 tn?1221762817 a young active 50 It is causing me double vision and my eyes (and entire being) are worn out from the double vision and rapidly increasing blurriness due to aging I was found with hystoplasmosis only in my left eye 2 years ago. The immediate laser surgery was to close the open vessles in my retina that broke open possibly from the bacteria from bird dung. 700067 tn?1332989283 t a place in TN that will accept my insurance. The three KY Medicaid providers are Coventry, KY Spirit, and KY Wellness. If anyone is trying to figure out which one to choose, go with Coventry. It's the most widely accepted and you don't have to have a referral to see a specialist. I am going to go to Cincinnati (about 2 hours away) and see Dr. Tew.
Avatar f tn I have been diagnosed with myopic degeneration and receive the intraocular injection which is very effective. My insurance carrier will not cover the cost of the injection (medicine and surgery). If I had a diagnosis of macular degeneration it would be fully covered. I am looking for suggestions as to how to make my case with the insurance carrier that this is not a one time event but a chronic condition that if not treated would result in a loss of vision.
Avatar f tn Not really a question but just wanted to let everyone know that I have FINALLY found a wonderful neurosurgeon here in Louisville, Ky! His name is Dr. Finizio & he is with Norton Hospital. My doctor from where I use to live took my insurance. As you know, alot of doctors are on a cash bases only. Is anyone from my area? Can you recommend a doctor close to Claremont County that takes insurance? Also, I was going to see about getting switched to Subutex because of the bad headaches I do get.

366262 tn?1360031596 I got pregnant 6 times using KY (3 kiddos) I asked my RE & they said unless it says "spermacide" on the ingredient, it's totally fine! If you think about it, thats what the RE uses when doing vag. US'S! (mine does anyway) If they use it, I doub't it really kills off sperm! But if your in doubt, then use pre-seed.

Avatar f tn I can even look at my phone or anything and look around and see a black outline of whatever I was looking at for minutes. There is so much more going on with my vision and head pressure and so much more I could never list it all. I also have been having weird pains and feelings in my head muscle twitches almost nonstop and so much more. If anyone has experienced anything like this please help me. I have lost all faith in the medical field just keep getting put off months at a time.
