I am negative for both and would like to remain so. The lab values on his HSV 2 test were quite high. My question is do your lab values fluctuate or go up when my partner is in an outbreak? An example of what I am asking would be similar to a case where someone has some sort of bacterial infection and their white count goes up.

Normal meaning everything was in range. On the lab report it said <160 and <100 but the dr wrote in that the dna count was <20,000. Im confused because they weren't very informative.

do not cosnider hbvdna values as something that matters to hbv infection, hbvdna is a useless test just to use for antivirals but as regards liver status, immune status, hbv status the hbvdna test alone means nothing

My ALT & AST were always in the normal range, even when the viral load was very high. For example, this winter my viral load was 16,000,000 and ALT & AST were both 22. Recently, Nov 2017, I had a viral respiratory infection, took antibiotics, then Dec 2017 I had bacterial throat infection, took antibiotic, infection finally cleared up approx 2 weeks ago, stopped coughing etc.....

The Hepatitis C antibody test will only tell you if you have been exposed to Hepatitis C. About 20-25 % of people who are exposed to Hepatitis C will fight it off on their own. They will always carry the antibodies but they will not have Chronic Hepatitis C. Medications will not affect the result. Monocyte normal value, according to a lab that did that type of test on me (lab values vary) 1.7-9.3 percent, so yours would be low than at 1.1. But on stills disease lab test site, they say that normal can be 0-9 percent which would put your number in normal range seemingly. It says monocytes are helpful in fighting severe infections and that a low value indicates a state of health.

There is nothing to worry about as far as your husband's viral load (VL). VL does not relate to the level of HVC illness nor is it related to the progression of liver disease. Viral load (VL) It is used during treatment to measure how someone is responding the treatment. Liver damage is really what you should focus on. hi all, recently i was screened for Hep C hep B and HIV and all came negative except for Hep C, i was so worried and i had no drugs or any of that background, had only 1 unprotective contact with my girl wich is negative for hep C, anyways, i waited for a week and went to a diffirent lab and the result came out negative. so iam really confused, which to believe and what to do next?

I spoke with my specialist (the old one, dec 5th I meet with new one) briefly on the phone today and asked her when and what the lab tests r. She told me the viral load is Wk 4, 12 and then at the end if I'm UND at week 12. If I'm detected at all at wk 12 the treatment stops. She said I get my CBC every 2 weeks for the first 2mos and then monthly after that. This all doesn't seem right.
