Common Questions and Answers about Vicodin withdrawal how long does it last

vicodin

Avatar m tn Everyone is different, but for me, the withdrawal symptoms lasted about a week, and peaked in intensity about days 3 and 4! It really does depend on how much and how long, to estimate how strong and long your symptoms will be! If you haven't already done so, please check out the Thomas Recipe at the bottom of the page! There are vitamins and supplements that you can take which will help with the withdrawal symptoms! Drink tons of fluids like water and Gatorade to help flush your system!
Avatar f tn As I went on, I started to feel more symptoms, chills, shaking, headache, mind fog, irritable bowels, extreme pain, weakness in arms and body, exhausted, and of course the blurred vision and other vision problems such as floaters, visual snow, light is too light, dark is too dark. I am still experiencing all of these symptoms at 1 month off now! Not able to exercise because of still rehabbing from the broken leg. When will these withdrawal symptoms go away? What about the blurred vision?
Avatar n tn how long does it take for all or most of the symptoms to go away? Thank you so much in advance!

1058261 tn?1256057540 I want to wake up every morning and that not be the first thing I think of. So here goes my question how long does the leg pain last going through W/D? How long will my energy level be zapped? I feel like even walking a short distance is a struggle. thanks for any advice you can give me.
Avatar m tn Does anyone know how long (like consecutive days or weeks) it takes to get physically addicted to oxycodone? I know it depends on the dosage per day, but assume one to two are consumed per day. This medication is 30mg tablets. My friend asked me this because he recently started using, and wanted to know before he goes off the deep end. Thanks for all of your help and support guys. This website gave me hope and reassurance that I am not the only one out there with issues.
Avatar f tn my body hurts so bad and i feel like im losing my mind how long does the withdrawl symptoms last?
Avatar n tn Hello to all I have been taking 5/500 Vicodin for about the last 3 months about 10-15 a day. I was wondering how bad my DT's could be and how long they may last. I'm scared and could really use some thoughts and any helpful advise from anyone. Thank you so much!
Avatar f tn How much vicodin were you taking? Were you on it for a very long time? Are you tapering, or going cold turkey? As enemy says, stock up on vitamins and minerals and follow the thomas recipe. You will feel like you have the flu for about 5 days. Drink fluids and stay hydrated. Opiate withdrawal won't kill you, but watch out for dehydration. That can be dangerous. Gatorade, ice chips, whatever it takes. Just remember this.
Avatar m tn Does Tramadol have as much SSRI in it as Zoloft? Does 100mg of Tramadol have as much SSRI as say 50mg of Zoloft? I was taking Tramadol while I was going through Zoloft withdrawal and I'm just wondering if I stunted the healing process of my Zoloft withdrawal. My body and mind still don't feel 100% since quitting Zoloft, but it's definitely getting better.
Avatar f tn How long do I need to wait from last time I got high til I start taking clonidine 1mg.
1990784 tn?1331871778 t figure out how it happened. Just glad it did. It was what I needed to get off the pills. I know from my experience that I went through about 5-7 days of physical w/d. The mental is way worse (sorry but I'd be lying if I told you different) Still going through the mental part. The only physical thing I'm dealing with is the lack of sleep. But as I make it through each day, I do think I'm getting a little better.
5783082 tn?1374177161 Can you tell me a little more about your Sub use? How long did you use, how many mgs were you on, how many mgs were you on when you jumped off? If you're on Day 4 without feeling any ill effects you may be one of the lucky folks who won't experience the Sub WD's. I'm well aware Subs have a very long half-life (similar to Methadone) but you're already on Day 4 so hopefully you'll skip all of the nastiness.
Avatar n tn Withdrawal from opiates takes a long time. As I have said many times, the reason people think that Suboxone withdrawal is so horrible is only because people can sometimes taper off Suboxone, whereas they almost never taper off vicodin or oxycodone. In general, the withdrawal depends on the tolerance (which relates more to the dose you have taken than to the time you have taken it), the half-life of the drug, and the potency of the drug.
