Common Questions and Answers about Vicodin price

vicodin

Avatar f tn Vicodin shouldnt be too Overwhelming to come off. Ive taken Vicodin for a couple years here and there. Months on and off. For me though, ive never really had an addictive nature - but Vicodin only seemed to work on me for the first week or So, then I really couldnt feel the effects enough after that to appreciate the Need for more. Anti-Depressants probably work quite a bit , atleast for the Depression and Irritability.
Avatar n tn My plan was/is I saw a psychiatrist last we and she gave me cloripine 2 times a day.. I had pills and wanted to go down slow but being the addict I am now, I could not... I do not have sleep meds... should I? I certainly can ask her.. I've taken all the anxiety drugs and never abused them at all... It's quite simply the 'high' from vicodin that I like... I was taking 8-9 when I woke, 3-4 at lunch, and 8--9 when I got off work... Now none! ARGH!!!
Avatar m tn i have been on 6-8 vicodin 7.5 daily for 8 months. before that i was clean for over 5 years. the first time i quit i was using 10-12 vicodin 5 for a year. the wd's were terrible. 2 weeks before i felt normal. i hate myself for taking these vicodin, after 5 years i thought 1 wouldn't hurt, boy was i wrong. i am so scared of the wd's, the depression and the lack of motivation suck. i own my own business so it is hard to call in sick for a few days.
Avatar n tn I am glad that it worked for you; however, as a rule, it is not a good idea to recommend that people take Methadone to get off of a much less addicting substance. First off, there are no clinics that I know of that will do a short taper so I assume you did not do an actual "program" with it. That is also not cool to recommend. Again, glad it worked for you.
Avatar m tn Probably a very strong one at first such as Percocet or Vicodin HP ( the strongest one)
Avatar m tn I had a backache the night before and my wife suggested I take a vicodin (which I've never had before), got up in the morning, was in the bathroom peeing away and next thing I know she's on the phone with 911. The EMT's checked me out and were OK with leaving me at home until they tried to sit me up. My BP and pulse both dropped (100/60 and 36bpm).
Avatar n tn Actually, it shouldn't be 30 days before you feel better. Hang on for another 4 days or so and each day you will feel a hint of feeling better. Ultram, at least for me did not present the cravings that Vicodin did. I actually tried to use the tramadol to get off the vicodin because my doctor said that Ultam was not habit forming, but still gave the same relief for pain. WRONG. Now I have 2 problems.
Avatar f tn s been about 11 months since I posted last about my awful addiction (and many relapses) to Vicodin. I have not had a single Vicodin tablet since December of 2010! And it feels AMAZING!!!! To all the people that helped me on here....THANK YOU, YOU SAVED MY LIFE. I have since switched therapists like you all suggested and she has me on a great regimine of (non addicting) medicine to keep my depression and anxiety in order.
645390 tn?1338555377 Do you think that maybe she misunderstood you? I'm on Copaxone and it cost about the same price. My copay is $15.00/month, my insurance covers the rest. I would call your insurance company and ask them how much it will be. If your insurance doesn't deal with shared solutions try calling Pression RX.
Avatar n tn My husband is trying to come off of tramadol and vicodin. He has taken it for years but just had surgery to repair 2 of 8 herniated disks. He is not doing well and at this point I am wondering why he needed to get off the tramadol at all?? I understand why long term use of Vicodin is harmful, but if he can stay steady @ 10 tram's a day, why NOT?
Avatar f tn Today marks day 12 I decided to STOP USING vicodin and norco. I feel great overall and my body is healing. I have a few rough days here and there mentally but physically I am good to go lol. It felt good getting paid and not trying to spend money on the pills!!!! I am gaining my old self back and feel so blessed to be able to have the inner strength to do this FINALLY!
Avatar f tn There is nothing free about methadone ...Even if you don pay for it it can come with a very high price .How much were you take what is it and how much .
Avatar f tn I have been on vicodin on and off for years but recently for the past 15 months been taking upto 12 5 or 10 mg vics a day......Well 5 days ago I decided this is not the lifestyle I wanted for my children.Oh and my husband was doing the same thing asme and we decided together this is not what we want!! I still do not feel normal....day 1&2 I had diarrhea...stomach pains..depression(which I started to take celexa for) Now I am experiencing severe insomnia....
Avatar f tn I have informed my family and a few friends so I have their support. I am concerned of course about the wds but I think it is a small price to pay for a clear mind and energy. So if someone could please advise me on what and when I should start the vitamins and supplements I would truly appreciate it. I am being treated for high blood pressure and diabetes so I need to be careful when taking any herbal supplements...
Avatar f tn I am getting ready to start a vicodin withdrawal and although I know tapering is the best way to go , I do not have any to taper with and not asking for any from the doc. I do have a bottle of 100 mg gabapentin (270 count) and have heard it willl ease withdrawal symptoms. How much should I start with, how many doses a day and how many days can I safely take it until I have to withdrawal from it too? I also have a bottle of methocarbamol and have heard it could ease the withdrawals.
Avatar f tn I ve been on Vicodin and tramadol for a few months but I can't deal with the withdraws.. Insomnia drives me nuts... Really wanna stop pills.. Help??
Avatar m tn i am currenty on hour 25 off of vicodin. Im not feeling that bad, Im sore like I had a intense workout and I guess the worst is I kinda feel like someone is sitting on my chest. My questions is, is this it or will it get worse?? I have read that tomorrow will be worse im a little freaked out. A little hisrory... I have been taking about 20-30mg of vic's for the past 7 months daily and what started as a weekend thing has turned into everyday all day.
Avatar m tn That means if I get sick and have to be seen by the doctor I have to pay full price, because I have used up all my co-pay visits just to get my prescription refilled. Is this right?
Avatar n tn Vicodin withdrawels aren't simply uncomfortable, they are misery. You will feel like you are going to die, and even wish you'd die, but unless you have existing heart conditions etc. you should make it thru withdrawels just fine. The average time being 5 days of the worst part of the w/d, getting better each day from there. Read about The Thomas recipe in the health pages. Following all or some of it will help greatly. Good luck to you.
Avatar n tn however meth is cheaper and my friends family is paying for meth clinic and chose it because of the daily price. but in the long run, suboxine would be better because u would not have to pay as long as you would for meth clinic.
Avatar m tn Hello everyone its been a while, but ive been doing pain pills for going on four years. Vicodin and percocet. And for a while oxycotin. I started because of my brother he had prescriptions and he is also addicted. He started doing them in front of me and then one day he offered me half so i did it. That was 4 years ago, my freshman year of high school, and that was only doing 1 every now and then. Now im doing 10-15 a day(by the way i snort them) even at school, and the scary part to me.
Avatar f tn I am on day 1 of stopping the use of vicodin. I have been using for about a year. I was diagnosede with stage 4 endometriosis in 1999 and was able to take pain meds as needed unill last year. Thats when the pain started getting really bad. I had surgery for the 5th time three weeks ago and finally admitted to myself that I have a problem last week. It has altered my whole sense of myself. I was once a fun energetic happy girl. Now I feel lost within myself and have no idea where to turn?
Avatar f tn Hi Watergirl -- I know they are rough but the price we pay to get clean is not an easy one--- The W/D's really su*c but they don't last forever ---- Prepare yourself for a bad case of the flu and be willing to bite the bullet and go through them. Hope you have some help at home. If you are down to 6 you have come a long way-- Keep traveling the road -- you will make it. You are going to be sooooo happy with the new you -- I guarantee it.
Avatar n tn reach out to the forum read there is much to garner here and many that will support you. wd is a small price to pay for our Freedom.. be kind to yourself..
Avatar f tn I am a 28 year old mother of 3 beautiful children and this is my second time trying to get off vicodin. The first time I had help with suboxone and it went nice and smooth, however when I stopped taking the suboxone less than a month after I was prescribed them. I began taking the vicodin for minor aches and pains again and it soon turned into an addiction of around 20-30 7.5mgs a day. I no longer have the option of suboxone because of the price of the script.
