Common Questions and Answers about Vicodin land

vicodin

Avatar f tn I have been on and off opiates (all kinds) for years since I was 12 when my mom would give me vicodin for my cramps. Ever since then nothing else seems to relieve my stress, anger, sadness and pain (when I have pain). I also am one to get chronic illnesses such as kidney stones and bladder / kidney infections so I am constantly being prescribed vicodin, percocet or T3's. I know one of the first questions is gonna be can I live w/o them? Sure... I guess.
Avatar m tn I am looking at the overall picture. Relying on vicodin to 'land' an interview will lead to relying on it to do the job, which will then mean taking more to do the same thing. don't go that route. If you can't land the job without drugs, then the job may not be for you or whomever is feeling they need this to be something they are not.
Avatar m tn without a doubt, the number one reward is the freedom i feel from the pills. i can now do anything and everything WITHOUT vicodin!!! to those of you that are quitting now, trust me, hang in there. all the WD symptoms: the sleeplessness, the depression etc goes away!!!! you can do it!!!! don't feel bad about feeling lethargic just embrace it, rent movies, rest, take baths, take time off of work, take walks, heal yourself. you can do it!!!
Avatar f tn I just wanted to say thank you to all of those people who have given me advice over the years, and who have given me the information I needed to get off of Suboxone while experiencing zero withdrawal. I am 7 days clean now, and I have my old self back. I don't even feel any of the anxiety I had before turning to Vicodin, so it is safe to say that I have my pre-drug self back too. I probably won't be posting anymore, except to give advice and once a month to say "30 days clean!
1374564 tn?1295059520 Hi all, I have been on Vicodin for awhie..much longer than I realized and just recently had my doctor tell me some symptoms I thought were related to a UTI was actually signs of addiction and withdrawals from Vicodin. Yeah for me. I have dumped all of my pills in the toilet.
Avatar n tn t he tell them that he had been on vicodin for the broken leg? how long ago did he take the last vicoden. If it was 3 weeks ago and he still has metabolites in his system then something is off..... does he eat poppy seed muffins? Google your questions on the internet.
535822 tn?1443976780 I went out today looking at some land for sale with a great view,I am near some mountains now and I love the view and scenery , my house has a bit of a view but not much, I was astounded how much there is out there that can be bought for a song, now I know times are tough and no one has got 'spare 'money but in my opinion if you can come up with some it is worth looking at Land ,and properties, the piece I looked at was almost 3 acres, had 2 wells and Power to the property...
1088527 tn?1425313375 She gets pains in her rib area that sound to me to be very similar to the MS hug. I do give her half a vicodin when it really bothers her (maybe once or twice a week). She is having memory problems, too. This needs to be addressed because my usually A-B student is failing two classes and had a D in three more. She wants to be an archeologist so she really needs her normal gpa. Baylee was accepted into Childrens Hospital, pediatric neurosurgery, so we are relieved about that.
Avatar m tn a buddy gave me about 15 suboxone which helped until about a week ago then i went into WD, since then i have taken about 10 5/325 vicodin a day (3 days) until last night when i felt ok and flushed the rest. I feel bad this morning but not HORRIBLE, to summarize i have been off the oxy 100% for 21 days, off suboxone 100% for 8 days, took 3 days of 3/325 hydro's. Do you think me taking the vicodin brought me back to square one? I am starting to suffer, how long will this hell last....
Avatar n tn I was done and without contacting my doctor or thinking about further repercussions I stopped the Xanax, Vicodin and Adderall, I could have lived through the Vicodin and Adderall withdrawals without problems if Xanax were not in the eqasion but Xanax made and is making it living hell. After 3 days w/o Xanax I was tremoring and dillusional, couldn't think clearly and on full day 3 had a seizure which was witnessed by my husband and daughter.

1453990 tn?1329231426 I've only been here a short time, but I'm leaving Limbo Land and moving over to the MS Forum as my main home. I have gone from Optic Neuritis with one periventricular lesion to ON and now TN wit several more lesions. The last MRI showed damage to my right optic nerve and right optic tract, so vision in both of my eyes is now effected (1/2 of the left eyes vision goes down the right optic tract.
Avatar f tn Hi. I'll try to make this short. 15 years ago I had an awful Vicodin problem. For one year I took at least 20 Vicodin a day. Back then, I didn't know my options and went on to Methadone to quit the Vicodin. The Methadone treatment lasted 5 years!! For a one year problem it took 5 years to fix. It was so wonderful to be free from everything eventually. The Methadone was worse than the Vicodin. I stayed clean for years.

Avatar f tn Let me start with my story I guess. I'm in the military and served in Iraq from sep 08 to apr 09, and while over there I herniated 2 diskes in my lower back, and didn't get medical attention while I was over there. Got home and had horrible back and leg pain and and was sent to physical therapy for 1 month and of course didn't do anything, was told I had 2 herniated diskes and was given vicodin 5-325's do deal with pain.

Avatar f tn I'm at my local library, since my internet access is temporarily kaput. At some point on Weds. the FIOS guy is coming, and after that I hope all will be well. I know I've missed loads of interesting discussions during the past week or so. Hope to catch up but sometimes that's not possible. I think I've had a bit of a relapse, or at least a pseudo-exacerbation. After the awful virus bug that bit me departed, for 2 or 3 days I had really awful pain in my legs and very low spine.
1357134 tn?1277304267 Methadone will not be easy to WD from. Neither is vicodin. Vicodin is probably the easier of the two, but it still comes with WDs. There is NO way around it. You will have to go thru WDs to get to the other side of this, and I know that's where you want to be. Thing is....WDs have a mind of their own. Hoping to stay drunk and push through that way isn't smart and most likely will not do anything but make it worse for you. I would not want to be on an airplane in WDs.
163305 tn?1333668571 The arson fires lit by the Hammonds in 2001 and 2006 may have actually represented sensible land management, but the Hammonds lost the high ground by their failure to coordinate with the government agency managing the land they burned. Prescribed fire is a tool used to improve wildlife habitat, increase land productivity, and control wildfire.
148588 tn?1465778809 s 1833 message to the Senate laying out his support for land disposal. But to claim that the land policies of 1833 should remain the land policies of the 21st century is akin to saying public policy should never change. President Jackson also signed the Indian Removal Act leading to the forced resettlement of tens of thousands of American Indians to make way for white settlers but that doesn't mean American Indian land policies today should remain as they were in the 1830s.
Avatar n tn Hi All, I am currently detoxing off of Lortab/vicodin.I was buying them off the internet, from a really "nice" Dr.-who also supplied me with Xanax. I ran out of the Xanax a week ago and I knew I was running out of Lortab last week, so I went to a Phychciatrist (sp) and got a script for suboxone. Not realizing I was in withdrawal from the xanax, I have taken half the dose prescribed of suboxone, and still have been sooooo sick and nauseated from the suboxone.
Avatar m tn In other parts of the world they are brutal. Most know the laws of the land and the prevailing religion. They don't have religious freedom. I will have to read what it means quran desecration. My point being, did they draw attention to themselves by criticizing the prevailing religion? With the brutality and barbarianism of that nation, that IS almost a death sentence.
251222 tn?1270936117 Hello everyone, it is with a joyous heart I can say --- I have escaped the barren wasteland known to us as Limbo Land, and now officially have - 'diabetic autonomic neuropathy + peripheral neuropathy'. In 23 days, it would have been 5 years that I wandered, mostly lost. I wanted to share this with you, because of nearly anyone in the world, I know all of you could understand how much this means. This is thanks to my great new doc.
