I cannot stand Lyrica! It makes me WAY spacey!! I have fibro and have had symptoms for 2 yrs now. It ***** BIG TIME!! I still take Lyrica because it's all I have. I still have pain, but now I'm spacey. I don't know how to ask my neurologist or any Dr. for vicodin. My old Dr. in another state used to prescribe vicodin for my pain and it worked well. I would take 1-4 a day. Sometimes none at all. It would all depend on my pain.
Has anyone ever tried it? I have been prescribed all these drugs including the vicodin for a botched broken leg/ankle surgery resulting in nerve pain. However, I generally just stick to the vicodin and rarely use the others.
I just desperately want off the vikes as my tolerance and use has reached 8 to 10 pills a day of 10/325 and sick of drugs. Just want to be clean for the first time in 4 years.
HI all.. I was addictied to vicodin for about a year and have been clean since Septemeber. I feel great. Here is my questions/temptation. A "friend" of mine offered to get me some percosets....are they just as addicting as vicodin or can I handle just taking them once in a while, like when Im hungovoer or something??? What are they and what do they do? Are they like vicodin?

If you drank any alcohol, you could be in serious trouble (never, EVER take acetaminophen with booze, or for a hangover.)

First time here. I stopped taking my prescription for Hydrocodone/750 mg about 4 days ago. I was only taking 1-2 daily for back injury. I stopped because I had epideral injections that were suppose to give me relief from the pain. That was a week ago. I still have the back pain and now I am having all the symptoms described by alot of you in wd. The stomach pain last night was the worst! I really thought I was dying. My heart was pounding and I was sweating and couldn't sleep!
Yeah well morning sickness is sometimes a poor description I had it terrible with my son and I called it always sickness lol. For most women it gets much better in their second trimester. Good luck!!

I canceled all my refills n jumped up my meeting attendance. After being home for a wk. I found a full bottle of vicodin which r my husbands and he assured me that the house was " drug proof" he doesn't take them and has now stopped getting them from VA..IN THE MAIL..LOL

wow, this might explain why I felt sooo extremely depressed and anxious today. I drank 6 beers last night... I'm on day 16 off vicodin... not a good combo. evidently, I guess especially for someone like me who already has anxiety.. thanks guys!
I have a ventricular aneurysm. EF 48%. So I sometimes wake up in the middle of the night gasping for air. I feel like my heart has stopped, I feel a warm sensation in my chest, I can't breathe, I begin to lose consciousness, then I feel a sudden release and my heart beats fast for awhile and I have a huge hangover-like headache for awhile after. And I certainly can't go back to sleep. This has happened a few times during the day too. What kind of arrythmia is this?
At first I was taking 6-8 Vicodin/day for about a week. Then got down to 4-6/day for several days. Yesterday, very little pain & only took 1 Vicodin. Today, 1/2 Vicodin. I feel awful, anxious, weak, sometimes dizzy, low (for me) bloodpressure, just generally not good. I am bipolar and take 50 mg. Lamictol & 1 1/2 to 2 mg. Ativan. Wondering if I'm experiencing Vicodin withdrawal?
Darvocet worked really well for me, actually better than vicodin. Its not weak to someone who doesn't know any better, therefore the withdrawal is just as painful as anyone else's.
You are teetering on what could turn into a full-blown nasty addiction. Get out while you can now. Mine started that way. I would take two almost every night, and I did that for about 5 years before it got bad. just try not to take them every day.

I have been c/t too since Thursday from 4-8 Vicodin/day for 2 years. I feel great! Shouldn't today technically be my worst withdrawal day? There was no withdrawal cycle for me with this drug with the exception of a very mild headache. Though I know fine and well the aftermath of a night of drinking, something odd's happened a couple of days ago. Myself and my partnet went to a bar on Thursday night. We both drank amounts of alcohol which normally wouldn't give us hangovers the following day.
