Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional doubts. Kind regards.

Carvedilol strengthens the heart muscle while viagra dilates the blood vessels to allow more blood to flow. The two drugs would work against one another. I am just trying to find out if occasional use of viagra would be safe or a risk to take.

667937 tn?1227758698 In 2002 our family physician gave my husband a prescription for viagra 50 mg. It helped us out a lot. But then on march 17 of 2007 my husband had a heart attack with minimal damage to the heart muscle, but had to have 2 stints placed to open a large vessel that was blocked. I am worried because my husband still feels he can take the Viagra. He has had no ill effects from taking it since but there have been times when he has not taken it that he has a severe headache after he orgasms.
Avatar f tn I agree w/ GuitarRox - doubtful this one-time deal would do you much harm. But same as GR, I'd want to know why you took Viagra in the 1st place at age 24 - were you experiencing any symptoms that made you think you were developing ED, or was this just sort of an 'experiment' to see what would happen? First, it's never a good idea to take a Rx drug that wasn't prescribed for you, and 2nd, it's an even worse idea to take a larger dose than prescribed.
