16087137 tn?1445209323 I started taking Viagra with a prescription after my prostate cancer surgery about two years ago. It really worked well but wasn't covered under my new insurance at all after I retired and I think a months supply from Walgreens or CVS (my local pharmacies) cost around $3-$400 per month. I'm not making alot of money right now, and when I mentioned that to my Dr. he unofficially assured me about generic versions made in Canada, that can legally ship to the US.
Avatar m tn A newer Viagra prescription will not work any better than one that is just a month expired, in my view. Other unregulated supplements are very questionable because one does not know their effect on your body or even if they contain what is on the label. I would rather you work with a urologist along with a counselor to help you with your nerve issues.
Avatar f tn Now his penis is retracted inward. He has a prescription for viagra but is afraid to take it.
Avatar m tn So I talked with my doctor and he prescribed 25 mg of Viagra. When the prescription ran out I noticed that my ED got worse. I couldn’t get it up at all. So I went to an urologist and did an ultrasound. The results were perfect. The doctor blamed on stress and anxiety. I am stressed about it, of course, but I noticed that the Viagra is not as effective as before. I am taking 50 mg now and I can tell that is not like the first time I took it. Is it possible that my body becomes immune to it?
1416390 tn?1333901604 P.S. Your Vet would have to be willing to fax the perscription to them AFTER you set up an account.....That's what I had to do...Once I made an account, I had an account number that my Vet writes (Along with my name) on the script, before it's faxed...They do it for me, but I assume you could fax it yourself from anywhere (Once you had the written prescription).......They also sell generic & I was given a choice, when I spoke with them (By phone) in order to arrange payment...
Avatar f tn I wish the viagra were not so cost prohibitive. I currently am fighting with my insurance company over quantity. In America on my plan--Blue Cross Blue Shield of GA, I am allowed 6 pills a month. Not nearly enough to take every day as my doctor ordered for penile rehabilitation. (I was fortunate to receive some sample packs from a Pfizer representative, but they are almost gone now.) However, I had tried a supplement that is known to increase nitric oxide levels.
Avatar m tn I recommend that you consult with a physician for a prescription for this and for any other prescription medication.
595295 tn?1219239932 I wouldn't. When you buy medication online, you don't have a prescription...and you don't know what you're going to get. You could get the container of viagra, but the pills have been replaced by a placebo (like sugar pills). Also, it could react with medication you're already taking, or any diseases you might have could be made worse by the Viagra! Don't risk it. Always get a prescription.
Avatar m tn Have you spoken to your MD about this? Did you purchase the Viagra with a prescription from your MD? or over the internet?
Avatar n tn Ask a pharmacist. When it comes to drug interactions, they are usually far more knowledgeable than doctors, and have databases in which to look up interactions. It's good to ask the prescribing doctor too (and if you don't have a viagra prescription already, definitely tell your doctor about ALL medications and supplements you take).
Avatar n tn m just wondering, do you have sex with others, how old are you, and how did you get a prescription for Viagra if you're a young guy who mostly masturbates at this point in your life. The main cause of ED are mental issues. Sometimes we're just tired or feeling blah and it doesn't work and then, because a partner is involved, we get scared and it escalates into a more chronic problem.
Avatar m tn Hi there, I'm an otherwise healthy 43-year old male. I've been taking Viagra for the last several years, about weekly (I do so because I have problems using condoms without it). After I take it, I experience vision problems for about a week after. Namely, I have starry vision and problems seeing in the dark (particularly walking from a lighted room into a dark room.
Avatar f tn I agree w/ GuitarRox - doubtful this one-time deal would do you much harm. But same as GR, I'd want to know why you took Viagra in the 1st place at age 24 - were you experiencing any symptoms that made you think you were developing ED, or was this just sort of an 'experiment' to see what would happen? First, it's never a good idea to take a Rx drug that wasn't prescribed for you, and 2nd, it's an even worse idea to take a larger dose than prescribed.
Avatar m tn It has helped but it has not solved the problem. I went to my doctor and he gave me a prescription for Viagra, 50 mg. My question is this: Is it safe to occasionally take Viagra if I also take L-Arginine? Are there are any potential contra indications in that Viagra should not be taken by a person who takes L-Arginine? If so, is the contraindication just for that day? In other words, would I be safe if I did not take L-Arginine on the day I took Viagra?
Avatar m tn But being a senior with afib and heart disease without angina my doctor and I think sex is healthy. I have a prescription for Viagra from my primary care and that is supported by my cardiologist. Not my answer or suggestion other than to not give up hope and work with doctor to find exercise or other therapy that brings the angina under control.
Avatar m tn Anyway, last night I was expecting to have sex so took one 100mg Viagra pill around 9.30PM. Had sex about an hour later and all was good, strong erection throughout the intercourse, no matter I was nervous about it. After I ejaculated the erection normally went away. Girl went home so I went to sleep around midnight without erection. However, I woke up around 6AM with a strong erection and a mild headache, which I know is a side effect of sildenafil.
Avatar f tn Hi there! Though Viagra has no specific side effects pertaining to MS, it is only advised to use the medication if advised by a medical doctor and only under the prescribed doses. Unnecessary self-medication is more harmful than useful in most cases and is best avoided. Hope the information is helpful. Take care!
Avatar m tn m not in the right situation to speak with a doctor regarding my issues although I have in the past and was given a prescription for Viagra; some of which I still possess. Before taking Viagra, I've ensured that I haven't ate anything in the past few hours. I actually addressed the potential issue to people who I've had sex with although they invariably tell me that I don't have erection issues even though I need physical stimulation to become fully erect.
Avatar m tn My doctor gave me a prescription for Viagra AND Cialis as soon as I mentioned problems maintaining erections for many years. I started by taking half-doses of each and got to my perfect mix. Viagra is for when I need pretty immediate results, or want to be absolutely steady erect for a few hours. I take Cialis when a little background help is required, and I'm not in a rush - because it is kind of self activated and takes longer to kick in.
Avatar f tn What I have is a congenital curvature, it's not peyronie, and my ED was caused by a medicine. I have prescription for viagra/cialis but it doesn't work very well so I 'd like to try other things, and I wonder if I can try alprostadil cream despite the curvature.
Avatar n tn In the past, I had been prescribed Viagra as I was having more or less of a performance anxiety issue with this one girl that I was with and used this only a few times to just get over this mental hump and then was ok afterwards having sex without the use of pills.
