viagra

Avatar f tn I am just trying to find out if occasional use of viagra would be safe or a risk to take.
Avatar n tn uk/sites/default/files/publications/sex_and_intimate_relationships_after_a_stroke.pdf - this says you should avoid Viagra and other meds for at least 3 months after your stroke, and until your BP is under control. There are also certain meds you shouldn't mix with them. I would definitely talk to your doctor about it. Your stroke specialist is definitely the best bet. Glad you're okay now.
Avatar m tn No replies?? I'd like to add that I am looking for an alternative to Viagra since Viagra has dangerous side effects. I never read the leaflet of a drug as dangerous as Viagra.
Avatar f tn The patients taking alpha blockers may use Viagra only after stabilizing of hemodynamic indexes. And lastly, certain drugs for cardiac disease may interact with Viagra, and if you are using them you should avoid it. The drugs are: Calcium channel blockers like Amlodipine (Norvasc). Concomitant use of Amlodipine and Viagra may cause lowering of blood pressure. Alpha blockers like doxazosin (Cardura®), prazosin (Minipress®), and terazosin (Hytrin®).
Avatar m tn It will take a bit of time to get adjusted to the new ways sexual enjoyment, and during this period, avoid any other forms of sex. Viagra may be used temporarily and it will help as far as ED is concerned, but should be prescribed by a doctor. Similarly for PE a very short course of antidepressant would help. You can go to a general physician and get them prescribed.
Avatar f tn So it has nothing to do with MS. Viagra increases blood flow and it helps a lot. It will drop your blood pressure and you don't want it to drop to a dangerous level, so you need to monitor it. Start with the minimum effective dose which is 25mg and see if it does something for you. If you wait for a study from the FDA on Viagra for MS, then it will probably happen after you are dead. Please try this now. Viagra has a very good safety profile for a number of years now.
Avatar m tn Please do more web searches and DO NOT use Viagra, Cialis, and Levitra. I also have RP and ED. I bought L-arginine/Orinithine but am wary about using until I read that it's ok. Blood flow changes seem to be very bad to already bad retinal cells.
Avatar f tn My husband is on the medication Suboxone and I was needing to know if he can take Viagra with this medicine? We don't want him to take it and go into withdraws or anything so, are the two compatible?
Avatar n tn I am scheduled for a thallium stress test, and would like to know how the use of viagra or nitro prior to the test would influance the results.
Avatar m tn It has helped but it has not solved the problem. I went to my doctor and he gave me a prescription for Viagra, 50 mg. My question is this: Is it safe to occasionally take Viagra if I also take L-Arginine? Are there are any potential contra indications in that Viagra should not be taken by a person who takes L-Arginine? If so, is the contraindication just for that day? In other words, would I be safe if I did not take L-Arginine on the day I took Viagra?
Avatar m tn Ive also been tested for HIV so I know thats not an issue and I protect myself while having sex. But I think there may be a correlation between using viagra and my outbreaks. Any ideas?

Avatar m tn My doctor had prescribed cialis, which had minimal effects and then viagra 100mg tablets. At times I will have a hard erection while having intercourse but there are times where it will be semi erect and will not get fully erect. This problem for me effects me in such a way that while trying to have intercourse with my girlfriend I start to feel less of a man and very embarrassed thus depleting any chance of regaining an erection.
Avatar m tn That is because Viagra was a mixture of compounds put together in a drug company to give help to angina sufferers, but the very noticeable side effect was seen. However, they re-branded it for the purpose we see today.
Avatar n tn Definitely check in with your health care provider before using viagra and heart medication. Viagra was accidentally discovered to work for ED when being studied for it's affects on the heart. They always ask you if you are taking this. Men taking ED medications can not take nitrates as a general rule.
Avatar m tn I do not believe this was caused by Viagra. It usually causes a vascular problem. The new onset of floater should be considered an urgent condition. It is may be associated with retinal tears and subsequent retinal detachment. Dr. O.
17995067 tn?1462167674 to the best of my knowledge, there is no such thing as generic Viagra. Viagra is a cash cow for Phiser, and ten years ago a SINGLE pill was 10 dollars, NOW a single bill is 30 Dollars. Every time the time period lapses for this drug to qualify for generic, they tie it up with paperwork-refile with a slight change to keep the generic out of it. If you are getting something from outside the us, it is likely not Viagra at all.
Avatar m tn I don't have ED but I was curious if my erections could be stronger. I spoke with my doctor and tried Cialis and Viagra. Since they have much different half-lives, I thought I'd try the following: Taking 10-20 mg Cialis every 2-3 days, then taking 20-40 mg Viagra (generic sildenafil) before sexual activity. My questions isn't whether this is effective - it certainly is. But is there any risk to doing this? I moved so I don't have a doctor right now.
Avatar m tn He dilated both my eyes as I was not able to pinpoint the floaters and flashes and informed me that both my retinas looked absolutely fine with no holes, tears or hemorraghesor detachment. He did attribute my symptoms to PVD which he described might have been due to my inital trauma that caused some inflamation and subsequent liqufication of the vitreous gel. He informed me that I could continue my activites as normal.
Avatar f tn I am in my mid 40s, I have ED and peyronie disease and I am taking Viagra to help with my erections because staying hard has been a challenge for the last year. It works well and my wife is happy. Recently I have been curious about using a penis ring in conjunction with Viagra to make my orgasms more intense, however I am slightly worried that this could be dangerous given how Viagra increases blood flow and a ring cuts it off and also... peyronie disease. Is it safe?
Avatar n tn Took Viagra no problem went back on klonopin and luvox and didnt need viagra. Had another case of performance anxiety two years later and my obsessions started again. Used Viagra and then no problem.Met my wife 6 months ago again performance anxiety, took cialis and it worked until I made a decision to try celexa for two weeks and I dont know if it was my anxiety or fear or did it really kill my sex drive. Viagra or Cialis didnt work. Went back on Luvox up to 150mg and Neurontin 300mg 2x a day.
Avatar n tn Hi, Viagra will prolong your erection but I’ll suggest you to consult your physician before starting on Viagra and rule out certain important diseases like hypertension, coronary artery disease before starting on Viagra. Viagra can cause hypotension (low BP) and can tend to worsen hypertension and coronary artery disease. I hope that helps. Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional doubts. Kind regards.
Avatar m tn after 4 years i started on a suboxone program and is still taking it.....and through these 6 years i still cant get an erections...there is a little firmness but nothing like it was before..Viagra doesnt help. also once when i was on viagra there was a little firmness but it seems that the tip or below the tip seems to curve when there is a little firmnes.....so now if there is a little erection, it doesnt stick straight out. its more of an arch...also i am a diabetic.....
Avatar f tn Please help if you can, About 3 years ago I had a few fainting episodes. Had a scan, tilt test, everything was fine. Doctors said they can't explain it. Fast forward 3 years I noticed I stopped getting morning erections. Within 2 months found it hard to get erections at all ( even alone) . My parenter broke up with me. No morning erections at all now and really struggle with erections. They are no full and as soon as I finish it goes down within seconds.
