Common Questions and Answers about Vesicare when to take

vesicare

Avatar f tn I used to and still go to a lot of horse events that are in remote areas and I used to have to take a bucket and pee in my horse float out of sight as the lines to the loo were always too long and there was only ever one toilet. Vesicare has changed that for me, you take your bladder and toileting for granted but I had also had accidents.
1056851 tn?1318720978 I have a hardtime remembering and spacing out meds and vitamins so i now have my cellphone programmed to ring an alarm at certain times of the day to remind me it is time to take a med or a vitamin. This method works well thought i would share.
Avatar n tn I kept with the Vesicare and when we came back I was pretty depressed to be home and had maybe 2-3 days within 2 weeks I had "issuses" of frequency lasting a few hours but then they went away. As of last Mon 11/1, after 3 weeks on the Vesicare and after being home for 2 weeks Iam 100% back to normal and I can't tell if it's from the Vesicare or because the anxiety from the trip has finally faded out of my body as well as the depression from having to come back home.
Avatar m tn I went off vesicare about 6 months ago and was pretty much symptom free until last week ... I have yet to go back to the dr but started the vesicare again 3 days ago but am only taking 1/2 of the 5mg tablet + I take pumpkinseed oil capsules which are supposed to be really helpful for those like us ...

Avatar f tn Remember to keep all your test results, MRI result, and all other Medical Records for yourself. Make it easier when going to another Neuro to have it all at hand. Wishing you luck!
Avatar n tn I am a 23 year old female who has the constant urge to urinate on and off for two months now. Various doctors have checked for a UTI and there is none. I have been on macrobid, vesicare and now I'm on flavoxate. Each of these medicines have worked for about a week and then I get the constant urge to urinate again. I just started the flavoxate and I have not gotten any relief. I'm not in any pain, but the constant urge to urinate seems painful and is affected my daily life greatly.
Avatar f tn I have having OAB for years now, i am on vesicare medication but it is not really helping. Over the years i also been having ED here and there but recently it is getting worse...esp when i stop taking meds. Been seeing different urologist but they cant seem to find anything wrong with me. I am 34years.
Avatar f tn It does work, but I have just gone off it due to it causing major constipation and I mean major and now my burning has come back so I guess I will have to go back on it and use both Vesicare and something for constipation to make me go. I wish there was something else I could take, and oh yep some bladder urgency is back too and some spasms, I must admit this has made me a bit down as I thought perhaps after 5mths on the drug that the problem might have gone away.

875426 tn?1325528416 can you rectify this? Also, it is not an encouragement to go on the undiagnosed community when one keeps getting huge pop ups there... is this only temporary? Thanks for listening.
Avatar f tn They provide good information on IC including dietary modifications you may have to follow to decrease the irritants to your bladder which may help to decrease some of the symptoms you are feeling.
Avatar m tn I then had a cystoscopy done which showed no abnormalities besides a tight sphincter. My urologist told me to continue the Vesicare which I have been doing. At my latest follow up I had a trace of a urinary infection which he said was most likely from the cystoscopy prescribed me Cipro 500 mg PO BID x 10 days. I am to return for another follow up in 2 weeks. However I still pain in my testicles, radiating to my inguinal area and lower abdomen.

Avatar f tn My ob/gyn thought it was UTI but urine lab tests showed no infection. She told me to see a urologist. He put me on Vesicare. but i do not have "urgent" intermittant feelings of voiding. I have ALL THE TIME 24/7 pressure and pain to urinate. I DO NOT have leakage. Please help. thank you and God bless you.
1188179 tn?1350116119 I have been on Ditropan, then Ditropan XR (or EX, don't remember which is correct) and after about 10 years that didn't work, so my doctor put me on Enablex and that works pretty well. Then I got a new Dr. and he wanted to switch me to Vesicare. That didn't work well, either, and I began having episodes of incontinence and urgency again. It's almost open enrollment for Medicare Part D, and the plan that is the most affordable otherwise doesn't cover Enablex at all anymore.
Avatar f tn I now refuse to deall with specialist who refuse to take the time to deal with me as a person and not just a client who is lining their pockets. I know that using medications to combat pain are not the anwser, but you should not have to live in constant pain. I hope that your condition will be dealt with soon, and that you will get relief from pain.

Avatar f tn I am currently on Cipro, Vesicare and Xatral for 30 days. Do I need to talk to him to specifically work on something for low grade inflammation which may the main reason for frequent urination? Thanks once again.
Avatar m tn said I had a stenosis and atrophy of the urethra. Gave me a script for Vesicare but told me to wait a few days to see how procedure goes. also mentioned estrogen Creme. I am miserable....what should I do?
Avatar n tn He gave me 5 mg of Vesicare to take once daily and told me to come back in a month. After 2 weeks, no relief from the Vesicare, so he gave me a 10 mg doseage. I return to see him on Monday (Feb. 11). My problem is, I have had this pain for 4 months now. I don't know what to do about it. I have tried eliminating citrus, acids, caffeine, etc. from my diet, but those things didn't seem to make it any worse and eliminating them didn't make it any better.
Avatar f tn It helps moderately. When the sensation is beyond able to bare I take Pyridium which is meant as a symptom killer for UTI's. It helps quite a bit, calms down my bladder. But long term use is not something it's intended for. I have about 1.5 weeks during the month where I'm practically symptomless, then about 10 days before my period starts it gets tighter/tense around my lower abdomen and pelvis.
