Dear Doctor,
I am a para-medical PhD student, and I used embalmed cadavers for my research. Yesterday I was dissecting blood vessels in muscle tissues. The vessels did have semi-
liquid blood inside them. while dissecting I pricked my finger with the scalpel which had some blood on it. The wound wasn't bad, but still bleeding a little. I squeezed some blood out and washed my finger.
I am not sure how well the cadaver is embalmed and I know it has not been screened.
